"(name)-san, we're gonna get caught," matsuno chifuyu muttered to you. your hand was in his, dragging him along with you and keisuke.
you had been holding his hand since you had left the station, saying something about how you wouldn't want him to get lost in the crowd. but now that he looks around, there aren't that many people around. he blushed at the implication - at the thought that you just wanted to hold his hand for no reason.
"no we're not," you reassured him with a smile, "unless kei starts a fight, we're gonna be fine," your eyes went to the division commander, squinting them with a pointed look, mentally telling him not to start a fight. you stopped walking for a moment, making the boys do the same, when the male you were following looked suspiciously around, probably sensing someone was following him.
"'unless'!?" chifuyu glanced in distress at the long haired male beside you, "fighting's his favorite thing!"
baji keisuke grinned back to his blonde friend, walking with his hands behind his head, "angel says to not start a fight, so i won't,"
picking up your pace again, you looked at chifuyu, smiling widely, "'fuyu!" you squeezed his hand once, getting his attention, like you didn't always have it (not that you knew).
chifuyu blushed at the nickname.
"i've done this a million times and never gotten caught! just follow my lead,"
"if we followed your lead we would all be dead," chifuyu deadpanned, kicking a small stone out of his way.
keisuke laughed and you giggled, "maybe so,"
"chifuyu, angel's an expert at this," keisuke reminded the younger. fingers twitching by his side when he once again saw you and chifuyu holding hands. inwardly, he pouted. he wanted to hold your hand, too!
chifuyu sighed. he loved the two of you dearly, but, god, were you tiring. as the most responsible out of your little trio, he had been dubbed as your caretaker, which meant he was always running after you both, making sure you didn't get into too much trouble. though, he rarely succeeded, seeing as both of you seemed to attract trouble, especially when together.
"this way," you lead the two boys down an alleyway and into a forest, easily navigating through the trees, departing the boy you had been following.
walking on the dirt, chifuyu was suddenly reminded of something, "who are we even following?"
"you're telling me, you went with us without knowing what we were doing?" keisuke chuckled, slowing down so he could walk beside chifuyu instead of you.
