El sat on mikes couch messing with one of the super coms as you, mike, Lucas and dustin talk.

"We will just tell our parents we have AV club after school. That'll give us at least a few hours for operation Mirkwood."

"Do you seriously believe that the weirdo knows where Will is?" You ask

"Just trust me on this, okay?" Mike responds

"Okay" Lucas says under his breath

"Did you get the supplies?" Mike asks yet another question

"Yeah" Lucas answers "binoculars. . . From 'nam. Army knife. . .also from 'nam. Hammer, camouflage bandanna. . . And. . . The wrist rocket." Lucas explains

"Your going to take out the demagorgan with a slingshot?" Dustin asks

"First of all, it's a wrist rocket. And second of all, the demagorgan's not real." You add

"It's made up" Lucas further explains

"But if there is something out there, I'm gonna shot it in the eye. . ." Lucas says as he pulls the wrist rocket back and then says "and blind it"

The action made Dustin jump a little.

Mike sighs and asks "Dustin, what did you get?"

Dustin then opens his backpack and pours out what is inside of the back pack which is just food.

"Well, alright. So, we've got. . . Nutty bars, bazooka, pez, smarties, Pringle's" and list just kept going on and on

You rolled your eyes at his stupidity and said "seriously"

Lucas, also done with the stupidity of the friend, saying it also

"We need energy for our travels. For stamina. And besides, why do we even need weapons anyway? We have her" Dustin explains pointing at el

"She shut one door!" You exclaim

"Exactly" Lucas say done with all of this bullshit

( I just wanna add that I know I'm taking a lot of Lucas' line for Mia but I just fell like I want them to be really close and due to that they will have a really similar personality traits. Anyway back to the book)

"With her mind! Are you kidding me that's insane. Imagine all the other cool stuff that she could do" Dustin exclamation back

You had rolled your eyes so much that at this point you thought that they were going to pop out of there sockets. But you rolled them agian for good measure.

Dustin then picks up a Star Wars toy and tells el to make it fly.

You were almost done with this boy and sat down on the couch on exhaustion.

Lucas looks down at the ground and just looks done with the situation. Along with you.

"Idiot" you and Lucas sigh simultaneously

"She not a dog" you say under breath as mike takes the toy from Dustin

"Guys!" Mrs. Wheeler Yells "time for school!"

Everyone quickly gathers there stuff up and gets ready. You run up the stairs as mike talks to el. When you reach the top of the stairs you yell down

"Mike!"

"Coming Mimi" mike growns

He runs to the top of the steps and grabs your hand and pulls you to the front to the house to your bikes.
