Bombs and bombs completely filling the place. Fires and shooting. God there was so much going on. And it only started a second ago. It was ruined. Everything was ruined.
"Let's go!" I yelled at Newt Fry and Minho and we all ran through the chaos around us and I felt Minho latch onto my hand running with my as we made our way to Vince. We had no idea what to do but it was the only idea I could think of and we seemed safest with Vince.
"Vince Harriet!" Minho yelled as crouched heading next to them. "How can we help?" I shouted over the many screams.
"You know how to use this?" Vince asked as Harriet handed me a shotgun and I nodded as I placed the gun in my arms. I placed the bullets in cocking the shotgun.
"Cover me! This may be our only chance!" Vince stated and I got on one knee aiming for the soldiers around me and I manage to shoot two.
"Nice shot." Minho looked towards me for a second and I grinned back at him as I carried on shooting. Newt somehow managed to get a perfect shot.
"Nice one blondie." I commented. And I shot all I could.
"Vince you gotta hurry!" I warned him looking at the many closing in on us and I was out of bullets as was Frypan. "I'm out!"
I saw something being thrown towards us and I widened my eyes looking towards it. It was the electrifying bomb.
"Shit run!" I yelled trying my best to warn everyone but it was to late.
We were all electrocuted unable to move, weakened. Then we had the view of guards dragging us away but mine was a lot more gentle than the others.
"I got you kid." I recognised that voice anywhere. It's Luke. He helped me up not being so rough. "I'm sorry." He told me and I just nodded not showing any emotion so no one else would seem suspicious.
"It's not your fault. It's your job." I whispered before he placed me next to Minho and Newt. "You okay?" Minho asked me and I nodded reaching out for his hand.
"Any of you hurt?" I whispered and they all shook their heads. Everyone was here except Thomas and Teresa. Where the hell were they?
They went around scanning our necks for our subject numbers and one of them were behind me as he scanned mine. The name showed up on the scanner and the person who scanned it decided not to read it out loud.
