Melina's pov-
I stopped listening to Joseph a few minutes ago. I felt funny, maybe it's because I didn't eat his morning.
" Melina? Are you alright?" I heard his voice echo.
" Y-yeah, I think I should head home, I'm feeling a little tired." I tried to stand up but failed miserably.
" You can take a nap on the couch if you want. I'll wake you when your session is over." he suggested, putting a hand on my shoulder and pushing me back onto the couch.
" No, I- I need to go home." my words were slurred and I slowly started losing touch with me senses. My body felt like it was on fire, I was burning from the inside out.
" Sleep, you'll feel better." I saw his blurry smile before I closed my eyes and let the overwhelming tiredness take over me.

Silas's pov-
I just got a call from River's therapist. Apparently Melina never came to pick him up, which is especially weird since they're only one building apart.
I was currently walking up the the third floor, where River's therapist is. After I grab River I have to go fine Melina and where ever she wondered off to.
I walked into the office and stopped at the receptionists desk.
" Hi, I'm here for River. I got a call to come pick him up." I said politely.
" Name?" he asked.
" Silas Amos." he smiled, " Good, sorry, we have to confirm your name before handing the child over." he explained and I nodded in understanding.
River came running out of the office and into my arms.
" Dad!" he shouted, I engulfed him in a hug.
" Hey, buddy." I smiled at him.
" Where's mom?" he asked looking up at me.
" I don't know, we have to go look for her." I said.
" I tried calling her multiple times but she's not answering her phone." the receptionist explained.
" Thanks." I said and he nodded.
" Bye Tyler!" River shouted on the way out.
" Bye River!" he shouted back.
River and I walked over to the other building and up to the floor Melina's on.
We walked up to the receptionists desk, " Hi, I'm here to see Dr. Maslov." I said and she smiled at me. Her face was caked in make up and I could smell her strong perfume from the hallway.
I watched as she leaned over and popped out her cleavage, " I'm sorry, but you just missed him." she said in a sickly sweet voice.
" He isn't here?" I asked confused, Melina was supposed to be meeting with him.
" He left about twenty minutes ago." she said, batting her eyelashes at me. They had so much mascara on them, I don't even know how she was able to keep her eyes open.
She has absolutely nothing on Melina. Melina doesn't need makeup or any of that shit, she's naturally stunning. She literally takes my breath away every time I see her.
" What about the girl that was here?" I asked.
" Don't know, I'm assuming she left before he did." she replied, losing interest when I brought up Melina.
