Chapter 6: The Switch

When we got back to class, Mrs.Beck immediatly aproached me. "Tyler, I have made the dessicion to switch you from the average joes's to the Brains. I looked at her with my jaw to the ground. I didnt want to go to the Brains because I cant hang out with my friends (The average joe's). She walked away with a smerk on her face. We all knew why she moved me to the Brains. She doesn't want Luke,Jackson,Janice and I to hang out together. We were not the smartest kids but we were not the dumbest so we were the average joe's. I helped those three get there, but they can do it on there own. Mrs.Beck must think that i'm the reason tht they are average even though I know they were capable. I decided to ask Mrs.Beck for proof. "Mrs.Beck, why did you move me to the Brains." "Because Tyler, you have shown alot of improvement on that last test." Thats all the proof I need. We all got the same grade so that makes no sense for her to only refer to THAT test. "Umm Mrs.Beck how about Jackson and them. They got the same mark as me." Mrs.Beck walked out of the room looking like she has a secret, even more proof. I told Luke,Jackson and Janice exactly wht happend and they agreed. After that we confronted Mrs.Beck with our proof and she said "fine, Tyler will return to the average joe's" We were all happy and proud that we convinced one of the most strick teachers in the school to get what we wanted. Mrs.Beck was thinking about what we said during class. Or at least it looks like it anyways. The next day,2 average joes were moved to the brains, 3 specials were moved to average joes and the brains were not effected at all. That day the class changed big time but at least us 4 were not moved. Then Mrs.Beck aproached us and said "dont worry, i'll get to you 4 soon." Then just walked away.
