I haven't written in forever... oops !! A little warning, I don't know how to write fight scenes so I'm very sorry if this chapter isn't the greatest. It was slightly rushed!

As Gi-hun, the old man, and I walk into the lobby, we are greeted by Ali and Sang-woo. Nico and Sae-byeok are in the back, sitting on the bed we were sitting at before the game. My heart is still beating and my hands are still shaking by the time we got there.

"Sirs, Miss!" Ali greets us and walks over. Sang-woo takes a shaky breath and walks towards us. "You're alive! I was worried!" He exclaims, mainly talking to Gi-hun.

"Did you think I would die that easily? I'm Seong Gi-hun of Ssangmun-dong." Gi-hun tells Ali, gesturing to himself to most likely calm his own nerves in reassurance. Ali then looks at the old man. "Sir, are you alright?"

"Oh yes, I'm fine. It's all thanks to him, and her." He points to Gi-hun and then me.

"I'm sorry sir but... I didn't do anything. I just copied what Gi-hun did." I explain, and it's true. I did nothing to contribute to saving our lives, it was all Gi-hun. "Well, you gave me a little hope. You're so young and I saw you, how you stayed so calm." He smiled at me and I returned it.

When did I become so... nice?

"Miss, and you? Are you alright?" Ali asks. I simply nod and smile slightly before the speaker starts talking.

"We will now announce the results of the second game." Everyone stops midway through their conversations and look up at the board as the number of players start decreasing and the money increases. "Out of 187 players, 79 were eliminated."

The ceiling opens up and the golden piggy bank drops down, revealing all of the cash. 7.9 billion to be exact.

Once the speaker turns off, I start looking around the room for my brother and Sae-byeok. Glancing around the room, my eyes meet Sae-byeok and I feel a small nudge on my shoulder. Turning, I see Gi-hun looking at me with a smile. "Go, they must be worried about you." I nod and excuse myself before heading over to them.

Once I reach where they were standing, I'm engulfed in a hug by Sae-byeok and I immediately return the gesture. To my disappointment, she pulls away after some time to punch my shoulder. "You could have gotten seriously hurt. From now on you're staying with me!" Once she finishes, I turn to Nico and he pulls me in for a hug as I just stand there. "What happened in there? Something is wrong." he says into my hair. I pull away and look around the room.

"There were just a ton of gunshots once we left, shouting too. If it weren't for Gi-hun," I pause to look at Nico, "I would be dead." I tell them but shrug.

I can't be afraid in here, or I won't last another day.

A noise interrupts our conversation as the doors open revealing guards and carts with what most likely is food. Once we all line up, we get handed an egg and soda. I look at the food before going to a bed on the ground instead of high up this time.

"We almost died and now we get an egg and soda." Looking at Sae-byeok and Nico, they don't look too pleased either. "For breakfast, we get bread and milk and now this. You can't be too surprised." Sae-byeok says to me. Nico chuckles, "It reminds me of school lunches."

I smile and look down. Our father sent us to a private school in hope to change our attitude. We always got these small meals during the week but I didn't mind much since the school was fun. Due to our three year age gap, we didn't see each other much but that school held the best memories compared to home.
