Chapter 3

-Third person POV-
Venti and Xiao were done with the detention and leaved the room, when Venti started to mumble:
"Hey Xiao..."

"Hm? What is it-"

"D-do you hate me?.." and a tear rolled down his cheek

Xiao stood there not knowing what to do. Then, he finally decided to spoke calmly:
"No Venti, I don't...Why did you started to cry? Is there something wrong?"

"No..I was just- afraid I might lose my new friend.." he said scared.

"Don't worry you won't, don't be sad please."

And with those words, Venti wiped his tears and started to smile. Xiao was confused of what just happened, but he ignored it and just went outside, as Venti followed him.

-Venti's pov-
Me and Xiao leaved the detention room and without knowing I started to follow him, but I'm sure we were both going in the same way anyways- So I just went by his side(he was going behind Xiao:D) when I saw a group of girls coming to approach us and almost made me fall.
"OMG HELLO XIAO"

"WAIT IS IT REALLY HIM?!"

"We love you!!"

And they were screaming and coming to us- I was afraid of what was happening...I didn't know what to do so I just went behind Xiao who was watching the crowd like a horror movie. But the problem was:

"Huh Xiao? Who is this boy-"

"Is he a boy or a girl?"

"Eww go away-"

I was kinda mad tho- is there a problem if I had a friend? Or maybe a crush ehe-

"He is my friend. Problems?" And I'm sure I saw his face getting a little red- IM SURE.

"Oh- he?"

"But Xiao he shouldn't be here it should be just us~"

'What a flirting method- that's not how to do it.' I thought to myself and all of a sudden, being lost in thoughts I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was some obsessed fan girl since I was hiding behind Xiao.

"um..I don't care whoever are you but- just move u idiot."

"YEA- get lost-"

I don't really know what happened next, but..I am sure I saw the girl getting her hand in a fist and ready to punch me. And of course I was sure, considering I woke up in the nurses's hospital bed because I actually passed out.

After some time, I could feel my eyes wanting to open so I did it slowly(idk if this makes sense-) and I saw Xiao and a nurse called Barbara that was talking with him. As I started to stand up slowly, the nurse came fast to me saying:

"H-hey, Venti! What are you doing? You need to rest. Go back to sleep, please.."

"Oh okay"

'Sleep? I don't usually sleep..' I thought to myself while I was laying down on the bed again, but not even 4 seconds passed when Xiao came to me. He was kinda confused that I woke up so fast maybe? Because the first thing he said was "Venti your already awake? You should go back to sleep as the nurse said early"

But I don't sleep- what's wrong with them.Maybe they just don't know what's happening in my house that's why..

I closed my eyes as fast as I could because the nurse was watching me. But then I heard her talk again with Xiao:

"Do you think he will be okay, nurse?"

"Yup! Of course he will, it's not a big scar, the girl also didn't punch him that bad. Bullies aren't that strong don't worry!" she said calmly.

'The scar? What scar..OH NO DID THEY-'

"Barbara..the scars are already go-"

"UM- YEA EXACTLY!" I stand up very fast from the bed and saw Barbara flinching.

"VENTI! Go to sleep!"

"Okay, okay I will now.."

'The scars...Did they saw the scars..My older sister told me that my parents made them because they hated me..Well that wasn't a good thing but still- I can't remember anything from my childhood. And Xiao's face? I always think I saw it before.

His face is oddly familiar?..'
