Chapter 4

-Venti pov-
"Wow..What's here?" I asked confused.

"We haven't arrived yet..Follow me more"

I was somewhere in the forest..It was so beautiful! Everything was green..How did he knew I like nature?

"Are we there yett"

"Just a few minutes" he said while dragging me after him. He was holding my hand..

-Third person pov-
Now the boys were at the fence that sheltered a huge tree that was actually a cherry blossom...

-Venti's pov(again😇)-
As we stood there I noticed how, starting at the top, the cherry tree was covered in white mist. But the cold didn't feel cold. And the mist stretched steadily, without greed, unyielding yet, and, reaching the foot, turned with new strength towards the top, encompassing ever thicker branch by branch.

In front of us, the thick mist, which had entirely covered the cherry tree's crown, unfolded into millions of stars, millions of fireworks lit at once with a single match. And each star became a white flower, and in each white flower a cold sound melted..

"Xiao, I...I" couldn't believe this was actually happening to me. It was so beautiful..just like a dream.

"I uhh- bring you here because..I just wanted to tell u something that's perhaps important?..
"Why was he asking himself if it was important or not-?" I thought to myself. Maybe he wanted to borrow something or to- too many thoughts.

"Oh okay then..I'm listening, you can tell me! I said very happy I was probably thinking about- never mind..

"I wanted to-.." but he didn't got the time to say because the cherry blossom did what it did just a few minutes ago..The flowers looked like fireworks (yoimiya's fireworks😋) which dissolved as we were watching. We were amazed by what just happened so I took a minute to ask Xiao:
"Where did u find this place?..How did you know about it?"

"..."
Even if he didn't answer my question at first, it took a while to make him respond.
"I used to bring my best friend here..but-"

"But? Why did you bring me then?"

"Because-"

That's when I woke up. Exactly when I was about to find out about his past.. But that wasn't the worst thing. When I woke up in cold sweat, I realized it was all a dream..The best dream I ever had and also which I wanted to actually be real, not just a dream.

"VENTI, VENTI ARE YOU OKAY-" why did those words seem familiar in some way?

"He's okay now, I think..he woke up" I heard those words a bit far away from my bed, and when I finally managed to open my eyes I saw Barbara panicking..but- Xiao was there, standing still.

"VENTI, YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE, THANK GOD" Barbara was very happy that I woke up- did anything happened while I was dreaming?

"Hm? What happened?" I asked confused.

"..what do u mean by what's happening-" she said as I watched her smile fading away. Her face was now looking very serious, even though Xiao was very calm about what just happened.

I think i interrupted her but..I was concerned about what was happening outside.

-third person pov-
The boy suddenly narrowed his eyes. He seemed to have spotted a dot in the schoolyard. It was a moving dot, like a beetle moving forward. "A child", he thought, but he didn't finish the thought until he flinched again. Behind the moving dot there seemed to be another little dot, also moving. He felt a strange uneasiness creep into him. He narrowed his eyes fiercely, fixing them on the two dots. For more than a minute he didn't let go.
  Perhaps the time had come to find out that Venti was a real phenomenon when it came to vision. His astronomy professor had tried it on him one night, having him discover, as the Arabs do, the western star Alcoor, near Mizar, at the bend of the Big Dipper. Only respect for the teacher stopped him from laughing: The star was very clear. The second attempt was a real ritual. He had also distinguished this one without any difficulty.   Venti strained his eyes to tears, and what he saw seemed a thousand times more serious and important than the fact that he had discovered the most famous ornaments of the star world in a single night. But in that moment..he knew what the two dots were doing.

"Venti, are you paying attention to my words-" Barbara asked with an angry tone.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, TWO KIDS ARE FIGHTING OUTSIDE!" Venti screamed "AND YOU WANT ME TO LISTEN TO YOU?" Okay, maybe he shouldn't have said that since it was his health, but the kid..he didn't deserve to be badly injured either.

"WHAT-" she started to scream too, as Xiao was watching confused our conversation.

"Where are the children fighting?" He came closer to the window to see. Yes, of course Venti was right, they were actually hitting each other. "We have to go there, now. Barbara stay here with Venti, I can help".

"No way your going there- we have people that could help them too. See, they are already coming. Thank you, Venti! Your vision is clearly well" Barbara said again, but now on a calm tone. "Your free to go then. Xiao can help you, right?"

"Mm..right" c'mon we all know he blushed at this. That made Venti happy.

"Happy Xiao..looks nice"

HEY IM SORRY I DIDNT POST FOR A WHOLE MONTH- I was really busy with my exams and everything and I tried to do this chapter longer haha- I am thinking of doing a Christmas special and I hope I will have time to do it😰 but uhh thanks again to my bestie for supporting me and literally messaging me weird messages every day😇Anepuffly you're still the best kiddo😋
