Chapter 4

*Y/N's POV*
"It seems as though you messed up,big time."Faith remarked as we were heading back to the classroom.
"Yeah,I did."I said then sighed.
'How am I going to explain this to the other members!?'I thought.
"Do you have a plan on how this is going to play out the next time they ask you who it is?"She asked.
"Not yet."I responded.
"Do you need my help?"She asked.
"Maybe."I answered.
"Alright."She said.
We went back into the classroom and attended our classes.
I asked the teacher for permission if I could use the comfort room and she allowed me to go.
As I was doing my business in the cubicle,I heard someone go inside the restroom.
After finishing,I went out of the cubicle and saw Ni-ki washing his hands.
He looked at me and went back to washing his hands.
I went to wash my hands as well but then,Ni-ki asked me a question.
"So,why were you staring at me in lunchtime?"He asked while getting towels to wipe his hands.
"I was just taking a good look of the cafeteria."I lied.
"And that involved stealing glances at me from time to time?"He asked with suspicion.
"No,I just so happened to look at you when you looked at me."I lied even more.
"Sunghoon hyung told me that you kept looking at me."He said making his way towards me.
I immediately took a step back from him.
He placed both of his hands on the countertop,trapping me in between.
"So why don't you just tell the truth?"He pushed.
Our faces just inches apart.
"I am t-telling the t-truth."I shakily said with a stutter.
'Why did I stutter!?'I started panicking in my mind.
'He broke through my facade!?'I thought.
"Then why did you stutter just now?"He pushed leaning more into me.
"Because you are way to close to me."I half- lied.
"Oh,sorry."He said before letting me go from his grasp.
I took a deep breath after he let me go and I noticed that my cheeks were blushing.
"We need to head back to class."He informed me.
"Yeah."I replied.
We started heading back to class.
Both of us kept quiet the whole time we were walking back to class.
We went to our seats and the silence continued for the whole day.
As we were walking back home since the estate they gave us was near the school,I told Faith about what occurred in the restroom.
"Really!?".She asked with disbelief.
"Yeah."I replied.
"Wow."She stated."That sounded VERY intense."She added.
"It was."I smugly remarked.
The rest of the week quickly passed by with very awkward silence between the two of us.

*1 week later*
"Y/N,Hybe just called me."Elise informed me.
"What did you talk about?"I asked.
"They said that they wanted us to do a cover."She answered.
"What song?"Agatha asked.
"Timber by Ke$ha."She responded.
"Ok,anything else?"I asked.
"No,just that."She spoke.
"Alright,let's go get prepared to go to the building."I stated.
"Ok."The others responded.
We all went back to our rooms to shower and get dressed.
After all of that was done,we started heading to Hybe's building.
When we got there, we greeted the receptionist and we were led into a studio prepared for our performance.
We started practicing a little bit before informing the staff that we were ready to start performing.

*After the performance*
"Wow,you guys were amazing."One of the staff commented.
"Thanks."I replied.
We all started getting prepared to leave when someone called my name.
"Y/N!"A male voice called my name.
I turned around to see JJ standing there.
I started walking to where he was standing.
"Hey."I greeted."What are you doing here?"I added.
"I was just passing by when I saw you guys performing."He answered.
"You guys are really good at acapella."He remarked.
"Thanks!"I cheerily said with a smile.
We continued chatting until the others were ready to leave.
"Sorry but we gotta go."I said with a slight pout showing that I still wanted to talk a little more.
"It's alright."He assured me.
"Bye!"I said.
"Goodbye!"He said back.
We left and went home.
We cooked for lunch and ate while chatting.
We cleaned up and went into our rooms while Elise and Emily remained downstairs to watch TV.
As I laid on my bed,I thought about what happened a week ago.
'How am I going to avoid him?'I thought.
I started slipping into the memories.

*A few hours later*
"Y/N wake up."I heard a voice.
I opened my eyes and realized that I fell asleep while reminiscing the past.
"What time is it?"I asked, my voice sounding hoarse from just waking up.
"8:00 pm."Elise told me.
"Ok."I spoke.
"So,who is it?"She asked.
Oh no,I forgot about that.
"I won't tell anybody,I promise."She said.
"You promise?"I asked.
"Yes."She sincerely said.
"It's Ni-ki."I told her.
"The guy you sit next to?"She asked.
"Yeah,but why do you both refer to him as the guy I sit next to?"I replied and asked.
"Both of us?"She asked.
"Yeah, you and Faith."I answered.
"Faith knew about this?"She asked.
"Yeah."I replied.
"So,why do you like Ni-ki?"She interrogated me.
I started telling her all about him,our story.
"Wow,so you've loved him for that long?"She questioned wih shock.
"Yes."I responded while slightly chuckling.
"Well,good luck wih him."She said to me."And don't let him hurt you."She warningly added.
"I won't,but..."I spoke.
"But what?"She curiously asked.
I started teling her about what had happened a week ago in the restroom.
When I finished she stood up and closed my door and started squealing while jumping around.
"You are so lucky with men!"She remarked.
"What do you mean?"I questioned.
"Well, you have Ni-ki and that guy from Trainee A that you were talking to earlier."She replied.
'That guy from Trainee A???'I started thinking.
"JJ?"I asked with uncertainty.
"Yeah,him."She answered.
"What?How?Why?"I asked.
"I noticed that he's always looking at you in class."She said.
"Seriously!?"I asked still in a state of shock about this news.
"Yeah."She said."I'm guessing he likes you."She added.
"What am I going to do then!?"I asked,panic present from the tone of my voice.
"Calm down,why don't you just tell him that you don't like him like what you did with that one guy that went to our table?"She asked.
"Because that would be rude."I replied."And  we're friends."I added.
"Well then, good luck with that."She said then darted out the room.
'What am I going to do!?'I started panicking in my mind.
'I'll stop thinking about it for now then devise a plan to carefully let him down then take action.'I thought.
I left my room and went downstairs where everyone was waiting for me so that we could eat dinner.
After dinner,I did my nightly routine and laid on my bed.
I pulled out my phone and started texting Faith about what Elise told me about JJ earlier.
She wasn't shocked and told me that Elise already told her about it.
I also texted her that I told Elise about Ni-ki.
She got shocked and asked about what happened.
I explained to her what had occured earlier.
She texted me that she was going to bed so I said good night.
I got off my phone and went out to the balcony,enjoying the view and cold breeze from the night.
The moon was shining brightly in the sky that set the mood for a melodramatic scene in a movie.
'What will happen now?'
