Chapter 5

*A few days later*
*Y/N's POV*
We were walking to the library because Faith and Emily wanted to read books in peace.
As we were walking, I saw two figures quickly pass by my peripheral view.
We continued walking 'til I suddenly stopped.
I heard what was going on inside the empty classroom.
"Ummm,Ni-ki hyung, would you like to go out with me on Saturday?"The girl timidly asked.
'Please say no.'I thoughtwith great fear.

"Sure."He agreed.
I took a step back.
The others were also snooping on what was  happening inside.
Elise and Faith immediately looked at me with worry knowing something might go wrong and saw that I was already tearing up.
I turned around and started running,dropping my bag on the way.
Running through the halls,crying,I passed by the other idols in my class including Blackpink,Twice,Stray Kids,Aespa,Enhypen and others as well as the Trainee A members which meant JJ would see me.
As I passed by,I saw JJ look at me in worry.
I ran out of the school and kept running and running 'til I got home.
I hurriedly got inside and went to my room,then locked my bedroom door.
I kept sobbing and then I started trashing the inside of my room,I even absentmindedly threw the picture frame containing our photo.
I immediately realized what I did and hurried to the broken frame.
"No no no."I said,still sobbing.
I picked it up, not caring about the glass shards piercing my skin.
The photo was fine but the frame that I kept for so long was ruined.
I took the picture and held it close to my broken heart.
"How could I be so stupid?"I started questioning my self and my sanity.
"Why did I even think he would recognize me and love me back!"I yelled,sobbing harder.
"Of course he forgot about me!"I screamed at myself.
"But he promised me."I spoke to myself, trying to reassure myself.
"But he might have forgotten about our promise, after it has been a long time since we forged that promise."I said,talking to no one but myself.
"But I still love him..."I said weakly.
"Even after all this time..."I said,starting to see black spots in my vision until the darkness fully engulfed me.

*Elise's POV*
"Faith,what are we gonna do?"I asked her after we witnessed Y/N break and run away crying.
"I don't know but we definitely need to get him!"She stated,panicking.
Y/N could put himself in danger because of what happened.
"What do you guys mean?"Cheska confusedly asked.
"Yeah..."Agatha continued.
"We can't explain it to you guys because its complicated."I told them.
"Alright."Claire responded.
"Let's go after him."Faith said with worry present in her voice.
"Yeah."I replied.
We picked up his bag and started running the direction he went.
We encoutered the other idols on the way.
"Guys,what happened to Y/N?"Lisa asked.
"Yeah,I'm worried he was crying when he passed by."Jennie said.
"We can't tell you guys,it's something personal."I informed them.They just nodded.
We asked them which way he went and they pointed the direction.
They also told us that JJ followed him.
We went in the direction they pointed which led to the exit/entrance(it depends on which way you're going -author).
We realized that he left the school grounds so we started running again.
On the way, we saw JJ looking tired so we stopped.
"Hey,you alright?"I asked him,trying to catch my breath.He turned to us in shock.
"Yeah but I saw Y/N run out crying so I ran after him."He informed me while trying to catch his breath.
"He must've ran back home."I concluded.
"Then let's go."Faith said.
When we got there, we saw 2 familiar figures standing outside the gate.
"Is that?"I asked.
"Yrish and Dawn!?"Agatha exclaimed.
The two girls turned around and saw us.
"Oh!You guys are here!"Yrish said with excitement.
We hugged each other as we haven't seen the two for about 5 months now because of their hiatus.
"Ummm,guys we still have Y/N's situation."JJ informed us.
Oh,right.
"Why?What happened with Y/N?"Dawn asked.
"We don't know."Luna and the others responded.
"Faith,Elise?"Yrish asked.
"We know but we promised not to tell."We stated.
"Ok."She replied.
We entered the estate,Luna started giving Yrish and Dawn a tour while also trying to find Y/N.
We started looking for him in the mansion,I passed by his room so I checked if he was there.
As I turned the knob,I found out it was locked.
"Guys!Get the spare key for Y/N's room!"I told them.
"Ok!"Agatha shouted back.
Agatha and the others except for Luna,Yrish and Dawn quickly came.
I took the key and inserted it in the keyhole.
The door opened revealing the trashed room as well as Y/N's unconcious body lying on the floor,holding a piece of paper next to him.
We called an ambulance and they came to take Y/N to the hospital.
I took the paper and saw that it was a photo,there were 2 boys posing for the picture.
"Wait,I know that photo."Faith suddenly spoke,coming to take a closer look at the photo.
"Its their photo."Faith told me with a knowing look that explained everything to me.
"Who's photo?"Claire asked.
"JJ,could you please wait in the living room?"I said.
"Sure."He said then got out of Y/N's room.
"I know I promised not to tell anybody but the other members need to know."I spoke.
I started telling them about Y/N's past with him.
After finishing,all of them looked at us with incredulous expressions.
"Really!?"Cheska asked,still shocked and puzzled about the revelation.
"Yeah."I responded.
"So,Ni-ki didn't even recognize him?"Yrish asked.
The three arrived just after we found Y/N's unconcious body.
"Yeah."This time it was Faith who answered.
"We should clean up this room."Dawn stated.
"And after that we'll go to the hospital to check Y/N's condition."I added.
We cleaned up his room and placed everything back to where they used to be.
We went to the hospital with JJ tagging along because he was also worried about Y/N's well being.
We asked the receptionist which room Y/N is in.
She told us that he was in room 306 on the third floor.
We proceeded to go there and saw him,still unconcious inside the room.
The doctor came to us and asked us if we were his friends,we said yes.
He told us that Y/N fainted because of stress and that we should let him rest for about a week.
He excused himself and left to go tend to another patient.
JJ went outside to tell everybody else in the class groupchat about what happened and Y/N's current status.
Everyone started sending messages wishing him well.

*A few hours later*
*Y/N's POV*
I slowly opened my eyes to see everyone asleep and scattered around the room.
I looked around and saw that I was in the hospital.
My left hand felt warm while my right hand didn't so I looked down and saw that JJ was holding my hand while asleep.
I took my hand away slowly to not wake him up.
I stood up from my bed and went to the window.
It was nighttime.
I quietly went back to my bed and slept.

*The next morning*
I woke up because of people talking and everyone snapped their heads to my direction.
"Yrish and Dawn?"I asked.
"Hey."Both of them greeted.
"I thought you guys were coming here next week?"I questioned.
"You knew about them coming here?"Claire asked.
"Yeah."I replied.
"And you didn't bother telling us?"Elise asked.
"Didn't you guys tell them?"I asked referring to Yrish and Dawn.
"No,because we wanted it to be a surprise."They said.
"Anyways,how are you feeling Y/N?"Emily asked.
"I'm alright."I replied.
"That's good."Emily said and went back to what she was doing.
"Elise,Faith may I speak to you two privately?"I asked.
"Sure."Both of them said in unison.
They nodded sending a signal for everyone to leave the room.
Everyone left the room.
"So,what did you want to talk about?"Faith inquired.
"Sit down first."I ordered them.
They sat down amd anticipated what I was gonna say next.
I started telling them about last night,that I woke up and JJ's hand on top of mine.
Both of them started laughing and teasing me about JJ.
"Shut up."I jokingly said,almost breaking into laughter.
"Ok fine."Faith said in a dramatically sarcastic voice.
I suddenly remembered what happened before I ran away.
I just kept silent about it and put on a believable fake smile.
I asked Elise to let the others back inside.
I stared at the others as they chatted.
'Will this be the end of us?'
