Chapter 6

*Y/N's POV*
We notified the teacher about my current status so that he knows why we can't go to school today.
JJ already left earlier.
We just remained inside the room for most of the time.
While the others went out to grab food,I started wondering about what will happen between him and I.
Faith,who stayed with me in the room,noticed me in deep thoughts.
"Y/N,are you alright?"She asked.
I snapped out of my thoughts and responded.
"Yeah,I'm okay."I replied.
"Are you sure? You seem to be in discomfort."She said.
"Yeah,I'm just thinking about something."I said.
"Is it about Ni-ki?"She questioned.
"No."I flatly lied.
"Oh come on Y/N,I know you're lying."She said.
"It's not about Ni-ki."I tried to push.
"You can't fool me Y/N."She stated.
"Ok fine,it is about Ni-ki."I gave up.
"It still amazes me how you can see through me."I remarked.
"We've been friends for a long time Y/N,of course I can read you like a book."She said to me.
"Yeah,we have."I said with a slight chuckle.
"You're like a transparent sheet to me."She joked.
We started laughing and eventually stopped after a while.
The others arrived and we ate the food peacefully.
Faith told Elise about what happened earlier.
Elise looked shocked but then her expression changed into a puzzled look,she must be thinking about how this will work out now that Ni-ki will date someone.

*Elise's POV*
'THIS IS BAD.
VERY BAD.
HOW WILL Y/N FEEL ABOUT THIS!?
I CAN'T IMAGINE A BROKEN Y/N.
WHAT DO I DO!?
I HATE THAT GIRL FOR CONFESSING!
UGH,THIS JUST COMPLICATES THE SITUATION EVEN MORE!'I thought.

*Y/N's POV*
'How will I avoid him and his... partner?'I started thinking.
'Will I try to be subtle or will I blatantly avoid him and just hope that he doesn't notice?'I thought.
I started creating a plan in my head of how I will deal with this situation.
'Okay,ignore him as much as you can and when or if he notices it, just brush him off and assure him that nothing is wrong.'I finalized my plan.
I messaged Elise and Faith about what I plan on doing.
They agreed and told me that they'll try to help me when I run into trouble with my plans.
They also messaged me that the other idols will come to visit me tomorrow.
We spent the rest of the day hanging out and just enjoying the alone time we have with ourselves.

*The next day*
I was sitting on a chair,staring outside when the other idols from our class came in.
I looked at them and they seemed shocked at my appearance.
"Y/N,what happened to your hands?"Lisa asked.
Oh right,I forgot about that.
"It's nothing,don't worry about it."I tried to assure her.Keyword:Tried
"Y/N got cuts from broken glass."JJ said.
"Broken glass?"Jennie asked.
"Yeah."JJ answered.
I just looked outside the window again.
"Y/N,are you alright?"Rose asked.
"Yeah."I replied.
"Are you sure?"JJ asked,approaching me.
"Yes."I answered again.
"What happened?"Lisa asked.
"I can't tell you guys, its someting personal."I replied.
"But-"Lisa tried to ask again.
"Hunny just stop asking."Jennie said to Lisa.
"Okay."Lisa said with a sigh.
They just came here to visit and after an hour,they left except for one.
"Why are you still here JJ?"I asked him.
"Why did you lie?"He countered my question with another.
"To make what happened less suspicious."I replied.
"And why do you want that to happen?"He interrogated.
"Because I don't want to cause trouble."I replied.
"Is that really the reason?"He asked with doubt.
"Yes."I flatly replied.
"I can see that you're lying."He said.
"Believe what you want to believe, you won't get anything from me."I retorted.
"Ok."He said,defeated.
"What happened anyway?"He tried to push the truth out of me.
"It's nothing."I replied with a blank face.
"Yeah, finding you in a trashed bedroom unconcious with tear stains down your face and blood stained hands from broken glass is nothing."He sarcastically said.
"Mhm,absolutely nothing."I said.
I already knew he would question about what happened so I made the others promise to never talk about it in front of anyone.
"Y/N I know you're lying."He told me and proceeded to sit on the side of my bed.
"So why keep trying?"I asked.
"Because I want to know what happened and what led to this!?"He asked,getting annoyed that I was dodging all of his questions.
"Y/N I'm concerned about you."He said with a worried face.
I stood up from my seat and sat next to him.
I took his hand and held it in my bandaged ones.
"I'm sorry JJ,but I can't tell you."I started.
"Its something I've kept a secret for so long."I continued.
"Something from my past with someone."I continued.
"And that person is someone I've loved for so long."I continued.
"So,I'm also sorry that I can't reciprocate your feelings,JJ."I said with a sorrowful voice.
"Wait how did yo-"He said,turning his head to my direction when I cut him off.
"You were way too obvious and Elise told me about it."I cut him off.
I stopped him questioning even more.
"Sooo,who do you like?"He asked.
"I also can't tell you who he is or details about him."I said with a sheepish smile.
"Oh,okay..."He said,disappointed.
"I'm sorry about that."I answered.
Someone busted the door open abd I immediately let go of JJ's hand.
I turned to the door and saw that it was Elise.
"Ummmm am I disturbing something?"She asked.
"No."I quickly said.
"Mhm,anyways,Y/N he is coming here."She informed me.
Wow,talk about bad timing.
"So I guess I'll meet who he is."JJ said.
"Ok fine,just don't tell anyone else about this."I said with a sigh.
ENHYPEN suddenly came into the room and saw me in my current state.
"Oh my gosh!Are you okay Y/N!?"Jungwon asked when he saw me as well as my bandaged hands.
"Yeah,I'm alright."I replied,turning to their direction.
"Okay,that's good."He answered.
I suddenly made eye contact with Ni-ki and JJ saw this.
"Oh, okay."He suddenly spoke.
I hurriedly looked away,finding the white wall very interesting.
I excused myself to the bathroom and when I closed the door,I leaned on it.
'How will I avoid you?'

It's your ever so amazing author back with another chapter that took me about a week to finish.
I'm sorry about that I was busy with my schoolworks and my personal life.
Shoutout to justronaaa for reminding me that I needed to finish chapter 6.
I was also too lazy to finish it but I enjoyed writing the rest of chapter 6 when I started continuing it.
Also,I give my condolences on Jake's grandmother and I hope that Jake will be fine.
Also poor Ni-ki he misses his family,Hybe please let him have a vacation with his family or at least let him have Christmas with his family
