get some honeyed croissants on our way to
our 11 a.m. class
in the meantime we
read apricot articles in fairydust-filled magazines and
sip vanilla coffee while we
fill each other's minds with fresh inspiration
we wear light-knit sweaters in colors like
apple-green and lavender blood
feeling a bit too hot with the new-born sun shining on our freckled faces
