Chapter 3

It had been a couple of days since the two had found their matches, and over text all four of them negotiated a time and place for them to meet up on a double date. Luna was the one who pushed that they should all meet together, just in case something should go wrong at least her and her sister would be there for each other. The alicorns were meeting in their match's universe and lucky for them Discord had taught them a useful spell they could use to travel between the two worlds. It was now the night of their big date and both sisters were frantically getting ready, trying to look their absolute best to make good first impressions on their Godly dates. Who knows what kind of standards they would be holding them too upon the first meeting. Celestia stood in front of the mirror adding the last final details to her outfit. She was wearing a simple modest dress, she didn't want to go full show stopper on her first date. I was made of a shimmery pink, see through fabric which flowed down her back and grazed the floor. There was a pink bow that tied around her waist and the front gathered almost like a scarf which wrapped around her neck, and was pinned to her shoulder using a golden pin in the shape of her cutie mark. She wore golden pearl earrings and the same golden shoes that she used to wear all the time as a princess. It felt a little strange wearing them again, this was the first time since she stepped down from being ruler that she had worn them, and she never would have guessed that she would be putting them back on for an occasion like this. Looking over herself one more time to make sure everything was perfect she trotted out of her room and knocked on Luna's door. "Luna, are you ready yet, we should get going soon if we want to be on time." Luna opened the door, "Sorry Tia, I hope I didn't keep you waiting." She said walking out. Celestia felt her heart melt a little, "Luna you look stunning." Her little sister was wearing a glittering black dress covered in rhinestones and the end hemmed with a silver trim which came halfway down her hindlegs. The front had a V shaped caller with a silver crescent moon in the middle and she was also wearing her silver shoes that she wore as ruler. Luna blushed a bit at Celestia's comment. "Aw, thank you sister, but I don't think I'm anywhere near as beautiful as you." Celestia blushed back, she was about to say something back when she caught a look at the clock and saw the time. "Oh dear! We're gonna be late, we better hurry!" The two of them trotted out of the house and over to the waterfall just beside the building. Using her magic Celestia created a small shield to use as an umbrella as they walked under the rushing water into a small area under the waterfalls ledge. "Now are you sure you have everything? Your phone incase of emergencies?" Celestia asked. "Yea I got it, you?" Luna replied, "I have mine too. Hopefully this will be a good enough hiding place for the portal." She worried, pulling out the spell scroll Discord gave them with her magic. "I'm sure it'll be fine, no one but us comes around here anyways, and if we do have visitors this waterfall would be more than enough cover of the portal." Luna answered reassuringly. Celestia let out a sigh, she knew Luna was right. Holding up the scroll in front of them she turned to her sister, "Ready?" She asked, "Ready as I'll ever be." Luna replied. Readying the spell the two alicorns closed their eyes and focused hard, their horns lighting up with powerful magic. Suddenly they shot magical beams of light at the scroll, causing it to explode in a burst of light and making a giant portal appear in front of them. Celestia stretched out a wing to hold on to her sister and Luna did the same. Taking in a deep breath they stepped into the portal together and let themselves be transported to a whole new different universe for their first date.
