"Where are they, where are they?" A small cat-like creature asked themselves, pacing back and forth while floating in the air, its long tail dragging behind it. "Come on, they said they'd be here by now! Those girls are gonna be here any minute, where are they!" It complained in a soft, high pitched voice. Suddenly there was a flash of light behind them as a portal appeared and the two alicorn sisters walked out of it. A little dizzy from their trip, Celestia needed a moment to get her bearings straight, shaking off the dizziness she looked around at her surroundings. They stood in a wide open field with the edge of a large sprawling forest not far behind them. A rapid rush of excitement started to take over as Celestia realized that she was in a completely new world, unexplored by ponykind, filled with new places to explore and if tonight went well, a new partner to adventure with. "Where are we?" Luna said finally, after looking around at their new environment. "I'm not sure," Celestia answered, "That spell should have taken us to our agreed meeting spot but, I don't see anyone here." "I'm here!" The pink cat-like creature suddenly popped up, levitating upside down in front of Celestia, startling her, she jumped back. The creature giggled, "Opps, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Taking a breath Celestia composed herself, "It's quite alright," Looking at her phone she asked, "Um, you wouldn't happen to be someone named Arceus or Giratina would you?" She tried to smile politely, but inside she was really hoping that this tiny pink cat thing wasn't her date. "Ha ha, nope, not me," Celestia let out a sigh of relief, "But I am related to both of them. The name's Mew, nice to meet you!" Mew smiled as it shook both Celestia's and Luna's hooves with it's tiny hands happily. Luna cleared her throat, "Well it's very nice to meet you Mew but would you happen to know where our dates for tonight are?" she asked. "Oh ya, they should be here any minute if they decided to keep their promise." It huffed, crossing it's tiny arms. "Keep their promise?" Celestia repeated, "What do you mean by that?" Suddenly two huge portals started to appear in the sky, they were unlike anything the two sisters have ever seen, with each portal being at least 15 feet in diameter. One portal was a mix of a shadowy dark purple and black, the inside of it looking like a toxic spinning whirlpool. The other portal was shining bright with brilliant ribbon-like beams of colourful light flowing out of it. "Yay! Alright, they're here, they're here!" Mew cheered as it flew up closer to the portals. Celestia and Luna did nothing but stare in awe of the magnificence of the portals alone, they were something truly only Gods could have created, then two creatures began to emerge. The one that came out of the dark portal looked like a huge grey dragon, with gigantic shadowy wings that had 3 large red spikes on them. It had 6 legs and had some sort of golden armor covering its face, legs and most notably its long black and red striped neck which looked like ribs. It landed heavily on the ground, making it shake. The creature coming out of the other portal seemed more equine like but still just as strange, with a giant gold ring attached to its white body with strange lumps and spikes all over them. It almost seemed like it had gold tipped boots on its legs and a helmet that flowed into what could be some kind of hair. It had a grey stripe on the underside of its body that led up to its face, making its green and red judgemental eyes seem to stand out even more. Celestia and Luna stood close to each other, could these two creatures really be their dates? For the first time since accepting her match Celestia was having second thoughts, maybe if their profile had come with a picture she would have rejected them after all. She figured that a God from a different universe would have looked different to her but she was not expecting this. "Mew!" The white creature spoke, its voice sounding male and authoritative but somehow high and scratchy, almost like they had a cold. "Why have you called me and the Renegade here?" It demanded, levitating itself down but keeping its feet off the ground. Mew giggled nervously, "Well you guys remember that little dating app I showed you right?" "I had already told you, no!" The white creature snapped back. "Awww come on Acreus, just give them a chance, I've been texting with them all week to get your date set up and everything." Mew whined. "Wait what?" Celestia finally spoke up, "That was you texting me and not them?" She exclaimed, pulling her phone out and showing the messages. "Yup! all me!" Mew smiled, it didn't seem to show any remorse or even show signs of knowing what it did was wrong. "I knew this was a mistake." Luna whispered to her sister, "Let's just get out of here while we can." Before Celestia could respond Arceus spoke again. "And is this supposed to be my date in question?" They floated towards her slightly, its small black pupil zeroing in on her. "You think some winged Rapidash would be a good enough mate for the Alpha Pokemon? Well you are mistaken." Not really understanding what Arceus had just called her but knowing an insult when she hears one, Celestia stood up for herself by saying, "Well wait just a minute-" but was cut off by Mew again. "Neither of them are Pokemon! They came all the way from a different universe and were royal princesses." Mew tried to explain desperately. "Makes no difference to me." Arceus huffed, turning its head away snobbishly. "Hey, if I could just say something here-" Luna began but her voice was drowned out by the grey Pokemon, who was intently staring at the two sisters up until now saying, "Maybe we should give them a chance. You never know, maybe they'll-" "I said no!" Arceus shouted angrily. "Awww come on." Mew whined some more. All three of them were now talking at each other, completely ignoring the two alicorns. Celestia had finally had enough and using her royal Canterlot voice yelled, "Enough! Me and my sister will not tolerate this arguing any longer! We demand to know whether our dates will go on as planned or not! If not then we will be leaving immediately!" A silence swept over all three pokemon, in shock of the booming voice that came out of one little pony. Arceus was the first to move, floating up close and in front of Celestia, looking down at her. Nervous about what might happen, Celestia stood her ground, unflinching and keeping a cross look on her face while looking back up at Arceus, straight in the eyes. "Authoritative." They said with an even tone, "I like that." Arceus turned back around to Mew, "Fine then, these so-called dates will go on as promised." Floating back close to the ground they started moving through the fields, "Come with me." they said to Celestia as they moved by. Almost unsure of what was happening for a moment Celestia trotted after them through the tall grass. Luna, watching her sister walk away, called out, "H-hey, what about me?" Then froze up anxiously as she felt the earth begin to shake. Slowly looking up to see that the 14 foot tall grey Pokemon that had walked right up to her and was staring down at her with its glowing red eyes. "Well you matched up with Giratina so they'll be your date tonight!" Mew chimed, flying next to Luna. "Good luck!" It called out as it flew away into the now dusk sky. "What have we done?" she thought to herself as she looked up at her monstrosity of a date.
