The Promise

"Wow dad went a little overboard with this outfit he really must want me to fit in" I said to myself

After I finish putting on my shoes, only problem left was my hair. I decided to put it in a high ponytail,  I got a suitcase and packed all my belongings that I had there and left my room.

Damien looked at me and for a moment I thought I saw a smirk

"Our parents are waiting for us at the airport" He said grabbing my suitcase from my hand that I was struggling to hold as we walk out the hotel I could feel everyone's eyes glued on me as Damien carried my suitcase taxi driver to put in the trunk 

We reach the airport under 10 minutes in pure silence 

The taxi driver took out, me and Damien's suitcases while this was happening men were stopping to tell me, I look lovey and gorgeous 

Suddenly Damien placed his arm around my waist squeezing me causing me too jumped  as we walked into the airport as eyes were on us 

Damien's strong  cologne scent  enter my nose causing me to blush he smelled so good... I thought

 But my little day dream was cut short  Brianna and my Dad run to us with a worried looked 

Damien removed his arm around my waist as soon as he noticed them

I felt slightly disappointed I wanted him to keep his hand on me...not everyday a heartless jackass that is hot AND is your So-to-be step-brother does that..

"I was getting so worried about you guys I thought you were lost... why does your eyes look like you were crying hunny?" Brianna asked 

"Brianna I'm fine.. I just missed my mom that was all.." I said looking on the floor hoping they believed me 

"Oh ... hunny I'm sorry to hear that..." Brianna said sadly

It was kinda of the truth in a way right..? I said in my mind until my dad asked me a question

"Adrienna who got you this outfit?" My father said question

"Didn't you? " I said confused

My dad looked at me confused as well then he turned to looked at Brianna she looked more confused than me and  dad 

"I bought the outfit for her I was shopping for Kaylin and it was to small from her so I give Adrienna and to be honest it was  more her style than kaylin and I guess I was right" Damien said looking at the floor hand on his neck 

I stared at him with widen eyes, wasn't this the same guy who said all those stuff to me a while ago ? 

"Damien I didn't expected you to buy me this..." I said rubbing my arm nervously

"That's the point it was a surprise. Its time to broad the plane.  Kaylin is waiting on me at the airport so lets go." Damien said coldly

Brianna and my dad just looked at Damien and sighed

Who was Kaylin? Maybe a friend or something I thought as my Brianna and my father comfort me for Damien behavior  we broad the plane an air hostess escorted us to a beautiful part of plane

"Does all planes look like this?" I asks looking around in astonishment 

"Only first class sweetheart" my dad said smiling at my amusement

Damien found a quiet space and sat down with his phone and headset

"Make yourself comfortable, it's a long flight" Brianna said

I sit  facing Damien without him noticing because he was listening  to music and leaning his head back closing his eyes

I turn looking for my dad and Brianna but I saw no sign of them I was about to get up to look for them 

"I wouldn't do that if I were you~" Damien said in a melodious voice

"Why not?" I said startle

"If you want to learn the hard way go ahead" Damien said opening those intoxicating hazel green eyes 

I sat back down facing him he smirked at me then took off his headset 

"Is this the first time you ever went on a plane?" Damien asked me 

"No it isn't" I said nervously 

"So when was the first time?" Damien said curiously

"When I was 9 to visit my dad " I said

"Okay" Damien said

"Can I ask you two questions please? You don't have to if you-" I was cut off by Damien

"Asks as much questions consider that a thank you for liking the outfit, I give to you" He said looking at me smiling I swear my heartbeat started to beat so fast, I swear I was about to experience a heart attack for the first time

"Thanks for the outfit Damien I really like it..." I said looking away trying not to look like a  tomato, Damien gently turn my face to him

His hand was so soft and warm which made my face heat up even more causing him to tilt his  head to the side a little, curiously looking  at me

"When your talking to me look at me I don't care if your blushing or your embarrassed by it" Damien said in a strict manner this  most  embarrassing thing to ever happen to me I thought

"I'm I clear ?" Damien said

I nodded my head since words couldn't come out 

"Now ask me your questions" Damien said letting go off my face and sitting next to me

"O-oh u-um w-well is my dad really marrying Brianna?" I said playing with my fingers

"Yes they are and before you buss into tears your mom was the one wanting your dad to marry my mom." Damien say in an emotionless voice

"W-what? My mother? when? I never heard my mom said that!?" I said shocked

"First of all your a child and it was a year ago, Your mom was so scared of you being motherless she called my mom and told her if she remembered the promise they made in high school and your dad knew about it.  When my dad died your dad was there for me and In high school your dad choose your mom over mine and your mom felt bad so she made this promise If anyone of us died marry each others husband and take care of there child until its time" Damien said looking at me
