Emily's POV

I froze. Doctors and nurses came flooding in around Hanna's bed.

"Can you leave the room please?" A nurse came up to me.

My heart started beating so hard. Hot tears streamed down my face. I didn't want to leave her alone. I needed to be by her side.

I didn't respond to the nurse, everyone else around me didn't matter, I wasn't taking notice of anyone, the world had seemed to of come to a stop.

The nurse stood me up and dragged me out the room. I dropped to the ground outside Hanna's room. She couldn't leave me, not Hanna, I couldn't survive without her by my side.

I quickly stood up when I heard voices yelling.. 1..2...3 they were pushing a metal machine down on her chest. They were trying to resuscitate her. I didn't notice but I was holding my own breathe watching helplessly whether Hanna would respond to the attempt to save her life.

The doctors had now been trying to restart her heart for about a minute now. I was feeling more panicky every second that went by and she didn't respond. Tears streaming down my burning my face like acid, never ending.

"Shall we call it time?." One doctor said. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I had to grip onto the wall to keep myself from falling.

"NOOOOOOO!" I sobbed.

One of the doctors looked over at me and said "give it one more minute carry on."

I felt the blood drain from my face. This was it, in 60 seconds I could of lost my best friend. I would give anything to tell her how much she meant to me. How much I cared for her, how much I needed her.

All of a sudden the doctors stopped pumping the metal machines into Hanna's chest. What no, they can't give up yet. I look at the doctors their heads were staring at the screen connected to the machine. I quickly moved my head to look at it. A faint line started to move slowly up and down.

I let out a deep breathe. Relief flowed through my body. I had never felt such relief in my life. My body started to relax after being so tense. I knew she was a fighter.

The doctors put the respiratory mask back around her face and walked out one by one. One of the walking towards me.

"She responded to the resuscitation, luckily we got her heart beating again. But it was touch and go for a minute. Your friends a fighter." The doctor said.

"Will she be ok?" I ask nervously.

"We hope so.. But we cannot tell yet, it's still early days and she is still in a coma." The doc said.

"Ok thanks" I responded while walking back into Hanna's room.

I sit by her bedside and stare at her face. She looked so innocent.

"You gave me a scare there Han, thought I'd lost you." I whisper to her.

No response.

"Come on Han, you have to pull through, I need you, I can't live without you, your part of me, if part of you goes, part of me goes too. My heart won't be able to take loosing you too." I softly speak. Giving her a kiss on the forehead.

As I pulled my lips away from her forehead I saw her eyes flicker slightly.

"Hanna!" I whispered in front of her face. While taking her hands so she knew I was there with her.

Then all of a sudden she flicks her eyes open, and there I see beautiful crystal blue eyes staring at me. I had missed those eyes like you wouldn't believe. I had never been so happy to see them.

"There's my girl, my fighter."I smile at her crying with relief.
