Chapter 7

"Her name was Catalina" Elena repeated.

Stefan and Damon had their eyes wide open. Both in shocked, believing not that the mysterious girl had come back.

"What?" Damon said

"It can't be that Catalina, we havent heard from her nor her sister in centuries" Stefan added

Elena not believing her ears said "Wait. You guys know her? Catalina. You two know her? She told me not to tell you both that she was there."

"She was inside of the house?" Stefan asked.

"Yeah. The door was open when I got there. She said she was looking for Damon" Elena answered.

"Of course" Damon ended the statement.

"She's a vampire. Yeah?" Elena asked.

"Yeah" Damon answered

Stefan with complete curiousness and not believing anything said "If Catalina is here that means that Aemelia is close, right?"

"Aemelia left, Stefan. She never said goodbye, neither of them did" Damon added.

Elena heard the name Aemelia before and she started remembering the new girl. The girl that sits to her right in history class.

"Aemelia" Elena whispered. She continued "I know that name..."

"What?" Stefan interrupted.

"Explain, Elena" Damon stated.

"Aemelia is the name of the new girl at Mystic Falls High School. But, I'm not so sure it's the Aemelia you are talking about. She was sweet, she was-"

"Sophisticated?" Stefan interrupted.

"Yeah" Elena answered.

"Wait. Her first day was today?" Damon asked

"Yes" Elena answered.

"And then, later on, Catalina shows up. that is not a coincidence. It has to be them" Damon stated.

"Aemelia is back" Stefan said almost whispering to himself. Of course Damon heard. He answered "They both are"

He continued "Tomorrow, both you and Elena are going to school. Check if it is Aemelia. And if it is Aemelia, Stefan, remember to ask her about Catalina and why they left us without saying goodbye"

Elena and Stefan both nodded. With that, Damon left and Elena and Stefan were left alone. Elena still had some doubts about this whole thing.

-So, who exactly are Aemelia and Catalina?

-They... we were friends. Aemelia and Catalina are sisters. When Damon and I went through our transition because of Katherine, Aemelia and Catalina saved us. They got us out of the crosshairs. Aemelia wanted to help us, she wanted to show us how to control it, how to manage everything. Catalina wanted to go but Aemelia begged her to stay, she really wanted to help us.. and she did. They left at morning Three to four weeks after we met.
