Chapter 8

-Stefan, I have to go.

-Go where? Don't you have class?

-Stop that. Stop asking and... about the classes, you know I can skip that.

Stefan nods trying to be understandable. Aemelia gives him a smile, she turns around as if to leave but she remembers something, she turns again and stares at Stefan.

-What? What is it Aemelia?

Aemelia looks at Stefan with a face of pity, while having a mind-battle. The battle of whether or not should she tell him that his sister was safe. But, Aemelia started feeling too afraid of the consequences if she did not tell him. Those feelings consume her and she decides to tell him.

-Stefan... Please don't be mad that I knew this all along. She made me promise and you know me... I keep my promises. I just would be breaking mine if I were to tell you, but my instincts tell me you need to know.

-Aemelia, just tell me

-It's about Ruby

Stefan suddenly heard those words, he focuses all of his attention on Aemelia. He felt guilty and slight shocked. He had forgotten his dear sister and he hadn't heard that name in more than 2 centuries.

-What about her?

-Now is not the time for your Romanian, Aemelia. I'm not joking.

-You've forgotten everything I taught you?

-Not everything. Language... yes.

Aemelia and Catalina spent a lifetime in Romania which is why she obviously knows how to speak it. She had tried to teach Stefan and she did, or so she thought.

-Ruby's alive?

-You spent centuries thinking & believing she was dead.

-You could've told me the truth all along.

-And lose respect and trust when I needed it most?

-I'm guessing that's a no.

Aemelia nods.

-I have to go now, Stefan. Because of me telling you this, things change. I'm in big trouble for telling you this.

-I don't understand

-You don't have to. Look Stefan, I have to go. If my siblings find out... I'm in trouble.

-Wait, Aemelia! Does that mean you've seen her?

-I've said too much

In that moment Aemelia speeds out. Stefan in shock needed to find out more and follows Aemelia, leaving Elena behind at the high school.

~Following the sudden events, we go to see Aemelia. She's walking towards a huge white mansion~

Stefan wonders and has in question the sudden appearance of Catalina and Aemelia. He remembers Aemelia saying and repeating that her siblings would get mad but, what siblings? What is she talking about? He'd only ever heard of Catalina. There are more?

Aemelia reaches the front door, she takes out her keys and opens the door. She enters. Does that mean that she lives there? He then decides to knock on the door to see who answers.

Curiosity killed the cat. Well, vampire in this situation.

The door opens, only it wasn't Aemelia who opened a door but a guy. he would've ignored the fact that it was a guy, but a shirtless guy just got him thinking.
