This part is even heavier than the previous part, Izuku goes through a lot in this chapter. I upload this back to back with the first chapter because I don't want people who don't want to read this, to suffer and wait even longer for a safe chapter.

You can entirely skip the chapter if you don't want to read about the torture parts, I can understand if that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Izuku and Lucia were next to each other in bed, he feared that he would have to encounter Carter again. He held his wife closer and even though he tried to go back to sleep for a few hours, he just couldn't his mind was running wild.

It was the middle of the night when their camp was overrun by the enemy. Izuku was ripped out of his sleep by danger sense. Kairi was already awake, yelling instructions to the refugees and the other members of her band. "Get them out of here! I will take care of the enemy! Ian help me!" she called to her son.

They both ran in the other direction, directly towards the enemy. They wanted to make the way for Miles and the others. They had about a hundred refugees here and she wanted to keep them safe.

Izuku growled, should he help the others or should he fight the enemies? The decision was taken from him when he got attacked. He managed to incapacitate the enemies that were swarming him, at least for a while. He joined Kairi and Ian in order to keep the others safe, but eventually, the three of them were completely surrounded and overrun by the enemy. They were forced to their knees.

The greenette felt something strange on the ground, the hairs on his body stood up when it got stronger, a loud rumbling could be heard in the distance, and suddenly a massive shockwave went through his body. He screamed in pain and his body convulsed as he collapsed to the ground.

Kairi, Ian, and Izuku were brought to the prison camps that were located in the deserts of Sudan, Izuku was still paralyzed from the electric shock, but slowly his consciousness came back. They were thrown into prison cells, many others were already here, they looked beaten down and emaciated. Izuku was next to a white-haired woman, she was catatonic for the most time, she just stared to the ground. She was missing a leg.

Izuku had no clue how long they were in this cell, but the door was eventually opened and a large man was towering over him. He must have been around 7 feet! He had long black dreadlocks, a neatly trimmed beard, very dark skin, and electric blue eyes, they looked really creepy.

Kairi and Ian, who had been sitting in the back of the cells, growled when they saw him. "Shango ..." Kairi grumbled.

Izuku was shocked when he looked up to the man again, this was Shango? This was the man they fought against. "Oh, so, this is the fierce leader of the mercenary band that keeps killing my forces" he spoke in perfect English. "And who might these two be?" he looked at Ian and Izuku.

"That's Ian, my son, and Izuku my employee" Kairi answered.

"Your son? You do not look old enough to be his mother ... or did you sire him?" Curiously he tilted his head.
