"I kind of like this position" I say hovering over the top of her. She pouts a little bit.

She then starts to wiggle. I roll my eyes and get off of her.

"Thank you!" She yells in relief and sits up and winces.

"Be careful" I say

"I'm fine Jumper. I just forgot" she says with attitude. I don't know what her problem is all of a sudden but she is acting like she does at school.

Shit! School. It's Monday.

Just then, the doctor walks in. They had came earlier this morning around five thirty of sixish to get her blood to run to the lab. We went back to sleep after they left because yesterday was very exhausting. I have no idea how I ended up on top of her in the last three hours but somehow I did and I'm not complaining.

"You are all good to go. All you have to do is go to the discharge desk and sign the papers and then you can leave. Just make sure that you are taking it easy. They will set up an appointment for the check up on your hand in the next few days so just watch for a call from them." He says. She has a look of relief on her face.

"Thank you doctor." She says while smiling even though it isn't necessarily joy but relief.

"Of course" he says and then walks out shutting the door behind him.

She turns and looks at me as if she is debating on whether or not to say what is on her mind.

"Do you happen to have any clothes with you that I can borrow? They threw mine away because they were covered with blood and we brought your car." She says her cheeks getting redder by the second.

"Yea I always keep a spare pair with me just in case. I will go grab them but stop blushing so much or I might think you actually like me" I say walking out the door to go down to my car smirking knowing that in some small way I do have an effect on her.

I go down to my car and get the clothes and head back up to her room.

I walk in and she doesn't have her IV on anymore. The nurses must have taken it off while I was down at the car.

"Hey I'm back." I say letting her know I am here "Here are the clothes. They are probably going to be big on you." I finish with a warning after looking at her small frame and realizing she really hasn't grown much past the 5'4 height she was in middle school.

"Well considering the size difference between us I wouldn't be surprised if they were." she snaps back.

I guess I am going to be putting up with her being like this all day. I don't understand what happened because we seemed to be fine last night.

"I am going to get dressed" she says walking to the bathroom.

A couple of minutes later she comes out wearing my clothes. Okay. Now that is hot.

I really need to stop. This is never going to happen. Clearly what happened yesterday weirded her out so she doesn't feel the same way.

"Okay Reid go sign those papers so that we can leave." I say "I'll be down at the entrance of the hospital waiting on you" I walk out of the room.

I decide that on my way down to the main lobby I will go visit my mom.

I go to the third floor which is where the cancer ward is.

Around three years ago my mom was diagnosed with stage three  transitional cell sarcoma which is basically cancer in the bladder. It is the most common form of it.
