Magnus Chase dies of boredom

Magnus's P.O.V

Me and Percy reached Brooklyn. After a long ride on Percy's Pegasus Blackjack and some throw-ups I was eager to step on the ground. We didn't even get a chance to look around when a girl of about 17 ran over to me and hugged the life out of me.

' Magnus! ', shouted my cousin Annabeth.
' Give him space to breath Annabeth ', said Percy grinning all over.

' Oh sorry ', said Annabeth and released me from her arms and I saw my beautiful cousin's face. Her blonde hair fell down her back. She had a warm smile on her face.

Then Annabeth went over to Percy and well...I won't describe how close they were together ( winks winks )

After some time we met with Carter and Sadie along with two girls whom I had never seen before but I felt some sort of demigodly aura coming from them.

' So this is the glowing chicken man? ', asked Magnus.

Carter looked revolted,' Glowing chicken man? ', he asked.
' I asked him to call you that ', said Percy.

The pair caught each other's eyes for a second and then a grin spread on both of their faces. They hugged each other.

' Nice to see you man ', said Carter.
Then my eyes fell on the other two girls.

' Who are they? ', I asked.

' We're Pandavas ', the first girl said.

Annabeth frowned, ' Pandavas as in Hindu mythology Pandavas? ', she asked.

' Who? ', asked Percy clueless.
' Well... I don't know which mythology you are from but we are Pandavas from Hindu mythology, Carter and Sadie here are from Egyptian Mythology ', said the second girl with the weird spectacles.

Percy fell to the ground. ' Why????? I already had trouble remembering gods from 4 mythologies a fifth one? Why are the fates so cruel? ', he asked to the sky.

The sky rumbled as if to say Sorry kid it messes me up too.

' So she's Aru and the other one is Mini ', explained Sadie.

My head was about to burst bad enough not knowing about Egyptian magicians now there were Hindus too!

All of a sudden I realized everyone around us was frozen still. Like rock still.

' Guys did you know that the other people are not moving ', I asked.

There was a flash of light and Percy sent a wave of water all around us.

After sometime I realized it was Percy's wave of water that saved us. Everything around us the benches the grass the poles where burning.

' Who was that? ', asked Aru.

' That was Hyperion and that means he is no longer a tree ', said Annabeth.
