Fake and True

It was raining so hard that his newly bought flight ticket got cancelled, he will fly out tomorrow morning. He regretted not taking the Business tickets, he would've been sleeping on a comfy chair because he is just sitting on the cold aluminum chair at the airport.

Minutes before his flight when his phone rang.

It was Soo hyung.

"Hello." He blandly greeted.

"Manager! Are you on seoul already?"

"No. My flight was cancelled."

"Great! We're coming there!"

"No. I don't want any disturbance."

"You have no choice."

"How come."

"It's simple Y E S." Ji yeon sang on the background.

"Shut up man, you're going to freak him out." He heard Soo Hyung said.

"Hanaman seontteokhae esseo yes or yes." Ji yeon continued singin, he heard slapping sounds so he hanged up.

He remembered when he used to dance to Yes or Yes a lot because it was her favorite song. Suddenly his heart jump as he reminisce the older days, the days where he was so inlove with her.

An hour after, Ji yeon and Soo hyung arrived at the airport. Both of them panics when the announcer said that the gate for the flight of Kim Taehyung is now open.

"I told you we should've rushed to the airport!" Ji yeon said.

"What? It's my fault that you drive slow?" Soo Hyung rolled his eyes and continued looking for Taehyung.

"Miss! Miss! Is this Flight 1307 leaving?" Ji Yeon asked someone from the information center or something, the female was left in awe as she look at the handsome Jiyeon.

"Hello?" Ji yeon snapped in front of her and she immediately looked at the monitor.

"A-Ah, yes. It actually left just a minute ago." Ji yeon sighed with disappointment and closed his eyes.

"Ahh shit." He whispered.

A week after, Ji yeon and Soo hyung comes back to korea from their break. Fans greeted them personally in the airport, waiting with banners and reporters. They were shock with the crowd surrounding them, this is not the usual crowd they get after coming back from a vacation. It feels like there's a thousand of people in the airport, but that's impossible. They know they're popular but not like THIS popular.

A reporter slipped through the body guards and asked them-

"Did you both come back from the home of the former member of the National's Girl Group TWICE?" Reporter asked, they both froze from their position. They were hiding it so well, how did the media found this out?

"Who is your father?"

"Why did Miss Yoo Jeongyeon hide?"

"Did Yoo jeongyeon left the industry because she was pregnant?"

"The rumor 19 years ago was true?"

"Why did you guys hide your mother? Is Miss Yoo Jeongyeon dead?"

"Where'd you guys even get that? Our mother is not dead." Soo hyung said with hint of annoyance in his tone.

Their manager eventually controlled the situation and pulls them out of the cameras. Running away from the reporters, the two was furious about the questions thrown at them about their mother.

"We'll go straight to the office, we need to handle this mess." The other manager said and called someone. Both of them nod and calmed themselves down.

Half an hour later they arrived at the building and was shocked when the reporters were outside already.

"Shit. Hey, let's go to tunnel A." Their manager said to the driver . Tunnel A is for VIP idols, such as second generation Idols. It is for them to secretly practice for a surprise collaborations and etcetera. It is also a driveway for board members, CEOs, or anything important.

"Tunnel A? I thought it's just for VIP idols and board members." Soo hyung asked, their manager explained that Tunnel A could also be used in emergency especially at times like this.

Before entering the tunnel A, the manager needs to get out of the van to show it's I.D and face recognition. After the security measures they entered the tunnel, everything was dark but as soon as they enter the light turns on and and it felt like they were in a movie.

"Cool." Ji yeon took out his phone and took a picture.

"Don't post that picture or else we're all going to get fired." Ji yeon shows his thumbs up and smiled.

A little later the van parked at the underground parking. There were a lot of cars than they expected.

"Oh? Isn't that IU sunbaenim's car? She's here?" Ji yeon pointed.

"Yeah, I heard she's resigning. I think she's signing a contract here." Soo hyung said, he heard the rumor just a week ago from the members.

"You don't really read our group chat." Ji yeon shook his head and laugh.

"We'll bribe reporters to shut their mouth, if not. Then I'm afraid we'll have to hold a press conference." Director Park said and dismissed the meeting.

"So what are we going to do?" Ji yeon asked. Director Park turned around and looked at them with blank expression.

"Stay inside as long as possible, and Manager Shin- Tell the other members to stay with both of them. We'll release a statement for their hiatus."
