Cassandra lay in her bed, both arms and hands now bandaged, staring at the ceiling above her. Sora cautiously snuck up beside her and placed her hand on top of her arm. "Cass- I'm so sorry, if I would have been stronger. This would not have happened. I am so sorry" she choked out quietly. Cassandra slowly turned her hazy eyes towards her and brought herself back into the present.

"Sora...it's not your fault. I promise, so quit blaming yourself" Cassandra chided her. After that, Cassandra's eyes grew heavier as the pain medicine Akiko administered started taking effect. "Sora, I think it's time to let her get some rest. You can come back in the morning," Akiko shooed her out of the room that they designated the medic room.
"How is she doing?!" Dabi rushed up to Akiko as soon as she shut the door behind her. She was only letting the females to come in to see her for the time being. "Dabi, calm down. She is doing okay, she is resting right now. But, it was a excruciating slow process detaching those wings from her back. I have her on antibiotics right now, and we can only hope she has not developed an infection from it. I healed as much as I could with her arms and have them bandaged, but she may not gain back feeling in her arms exactly the same," she gave him her analysis.
Next, Penny came running up to her. "Can I go see her, please??" Akiko shook her head 'no'. Penny let out an exasperated sigh. "Hey, Dabi?" Akiko turned her head back to him. "hm?" he mumbled off-handedly. "Have you heard from your brother since we parted this afternoon?" He shook his head.
"I expect to hear from him by tomorrow, though. Not really looking forward to it." Dabi grumbled. Akiko gave him a slight smile and patted him on the head before heading to her room for the night.
-Shoto's household-
Deku and Shoto stood in their living room, talking things over with Bakugou and Kirishima. "Babe, are you sure you did the right thing? If someone saw, it could ruin everything for you and your hero career. Not to mention you will be arrested..." Shoto said as he worriedly looked at his husband. "Yeah, Deku! Not to mention the trouble you will get us into. We would be accomplices!! Now that I think about it, we wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for you Icy Hot," Bakugou ranted at high volume. "Now bakubro, you can't say that. It was his sister out there," Kirishima interjected.
