Sora was there when they all appeared out of the portal, carrying a frozen Deku to their medic room. Cassandra sat outside the room in a complete mess, crying from a mixture of fear and guilt. Sora rushed to her side, taking her in her arms trying to soothe her as they worked to bring Deku back in the room.
Toga was conflicted weather to stay outside or attempt to help Deku. In the end, she decided to try to console Cassandra alongside Sora. Shigaraki spoke to the others, since they had four pro heroes inside their hideout as of that moment. Dabi stayed on the outskirts of the others inside the room, not knowing how he could help, but he did call for Akiko to come in to help.
Shoto, who had a waning hope, sat beside Deku holding his cold hand crying. "Dammit, don't give up Icy Hot! He is your husband, my best friend. Dammit to Hell! He is our life, get up and fight for him, don't give up!" Bakugou yelled angrily beside him as he emitted miniscule explosions around his body, knowing he might end up hurting him but too afraid to give up on him. Kirishima stood beside Bakugou, watching him sadly, already void of hope himself. Tears were in everyone's eyes when Akiko arrived at the despairing room. She looked sadly towards the man on the bed.
"How long has he not been breathing?" Everyone looked at him in shock, so focused on warming him up to notice he had stopped breathing. Shoto let out a scream before collapsing backwards, Dabi catching him before he hit the floor. Tears were in his eyes as his quirk attempted to go haywire. "Shiggy, quick the restraints!" Dabi yelled as Shoto cried and ice and flames swirled out of control around him and Dabi. "Shoto, Sho... Come on, we are here. You have got to calm down, it's okay." Dabi attempted calming him but only made it worse. Before he lost control, Dabi snapped the restraints on his wrist and rested him in the corner.
Bakugou had already jumped on top of Deku, doing CPR desperately while Kirishima attempted pulling him off. "Not, get off me! He can't be dead! He can't be, you understand?!!?" he screamed at Kirishima, pushing him away and continuing to beat on Deku. "You're not allowed to be useless. You're not allowed to be first, understand? I'm supposed to be first, even in death!!!" Everyone watched in dismay as he continued CPR in a manic desperation while Shoto's mind cracked in the corner.
"Kirishima, you call Aizawa! Call him now! This is not possible; no, you are stronger than me stupid Deku. Get Eri, bring him back!!!" Everyone stood like statues as he broke each passing minute. But nobody moved to call anybody for help. He snatched his body away from Deku's and pried the phone from Kirishima, that fought to keep his phone. He dialed Aizawa's number before Kirishima could prevent him.
"Aizawa here, who's calling?" came his old teacher's comforting voice across the phone. "Hello? Anybody there?" he said as silence rang loudly through the phone before hearing a broken Bakugou on the other end.
"Aizawa, please help. I can't lose him! I need him! Please, I know Eri can reverse this so please help me" he screamed into the phone, the rest coming through as incoherent.
