Clay POV
We cried for a while. I remember that memory oh so well. "Hey, uh, why do you hate your father, if you don't mind me asking?" I asked as I hugged the one I loved tightly. His eyes widened, some distant anger filled his eyes. "You don't have to-" I was cut off. "He is the reason my mother is dead." George said. "What?! I'm sorry." I felt bad for him. What he had to go through. My mother wasn't good but I know how hard it is to grow up without a mother who cares for you. I hugged him tightly. "I'm so sorry." My heart felt as if someone cut it into pieces. "Shouldn't he be in jail?" I dared ask. "He managed to make it look like an accident, but I know it wasn't!" George said, a deep sadness shone in his eyes. I wish I could've said something to comfort him but nothing left my mouth, in instead I let him cry on my shoulder. No words to be spilled, only tears. After the crying we both sat in each others arms, staring at the sky. Lost in our own worlds thinking about the past, which has left echoes that last forever.
