here you go you feral little creatures, have the food you desire. 2581 words

Techno definitely did not think this through, he had resolved that it would be easiest to just bring the kid and explain to Niki that no, he had not kidnapped a child he swears on his life. He had ten minutes of driving to figure out how to explain the situation to his high school friend and he spent ten minutes of driving listening to the voices fight over it. She would probably ignore him and call Phil, or simply adopt Ranboo herself.

There was also the issue of the public, which despite taking Ranboo outside multiple times, he's never really made them interact with other people, although it was likely they had interacted with people before techno had found them, yet it seemed like they had never stepped outside from how he acts. All he could do was hope and pray that one of those weird, possessed child things would happen again, which he should probably inquire about actually the kid clearly had some Enderian in him maybe it was a species thing or maybe he would die in three days and techno's procrastination would leave him in the dark on that issue till the day he dies.

Back to Niki, she babysat Tommy a little back when Wil and she were still in high school together, Wilbur has quit as of late because the Sally issue is getting just a tad out of hand for him to be worried about calculus homework.

But Niki also dropped out to attend some fancy film and art school, so neither of them are doing math.

But Niki is techno's friend and Wilbur is his brother so he can only make fun of Wilbur

Ranboo grabbed his hand, well, technically he could only reach three fingers, but the sentiment was still there. They shook his hand a little, and it felt like a strong wind was just pushing his hand slightly, but nevertheless, it still warmed and broke his heart just a tiny little bit. Their hand was surprisingly cold, which made a lot of sense considering Enderian biology, but it was still a small shock to such a warm-blooded person like himself. His fingers were small, it was clear to see, but having them in his touch highlighted that fact, actually feeling them on his skin truly showed how small and insignificant they were on the scale of everything else, with Technoblade, a 6 foot 3 Piglin towering over him, visually showing how small he was to the world. If Ranboo was to die tomorrow next to no one would know, would care, and yet here techno stood, caring a little more than he'd ever admit.

Ranboo had pretty big eyes, one a classic ender green while the other contained a shade of red a little too close to his own for comfort. That was probably the only reason he could look the kid in the eyes, or he simply hadn't inherited that gene from whatever parent gave it to him. Ranboo vocalised at him, a kind of V or P sound followed by an EN and then an L.

"hey kid, you probably don't understand me," he started slowly and softly "but thanks for getting me up, mate, saved me a lot of grief." He knew that there was no possible way for them to understand with how they had reacted to all the other times he tried to communicate in Common, despite all that Ranboo smiled up at him, seemingly content.

Techno did not think this through at all, sure he had decent driving skills and kind of all-right organisational tactics considering how he was usually an uncontrollable mess of overthinking and unmotivated organization attempts that never really worked. He'd followed the lists, the schedules, the plans, even the random sticky notes he stuck everywhere to try and stay on task, he took the meds that helped, and yet here he was, still jumping into things headfirst without thinking and immediately getting backlash. There was always that brief moment of 'shoot I have to deal with the consequences of my actions' that made him feel ridiculous. Now was one of these situations. He was sitting in his car in a car park that technically belonged to a store parallel to the shopping centre with a surprise child sitting in the back swinging their legs back and forth to keep themselves occupied that didn't know English or how to socialise oh god why did you think this was a good idea?
