Chapter 14

Paige's p.o.v

I opened my eyes to see Katie staring at me

"ok that's creepy how long have you been doing that?" I questioned her

"about 5 seconds I kinda figured you'd feel like someone was watching" she grinned. I looked at the clock

"What the hell Katie its only half 9!" I groaned and tried to roll over to go back to sleep but she had me pinned down

"you are not going back to sleep missy we have lots to do today, drink this" she produced a cup of coffee from nowhere! SHE'S MAGIC.

"why do we have lots to do today I just wanted to watch some films" I stuck my bottom lip out at her

"because we are going to a party tonight" she said and I raised an eyebrow

"Katie I don't know anyone here"

"I know but you'll love them I promise. If we go and you don't like it after half an hour we can come home" she gave me puppy dog eyes

"UGH FINE" I gave up she's exactly the same as Chloe!

It took me a total of 15 minutes to get ready because I was not in the mood for acting like a girl so I grabbed a pair of dark grey sweats with a cuffed bottom and dark 2 purple stripes running down the side, a tee-shirt and a hoody. I made an effort for my hair well... I brushed it and put it into a fishtail plait with strands at the front that were curly and then applied some foundation and mascara.

"you look like you are going to commit a crime" Katie said when I walked into the lounge

"if you don't stop getting me out of bed at stupid times in the mornings I will be committing crimes you'd better have an ambulance on standby!" we both laughed and I turned on the tv whilst we ate breakfast

"what's first on the agenda Kitkat" I asked

"did you just call me Kitkat?" she raised her eyebrows

"no think you're going crazy Katie" I said

"oh" haha what a silly one I think I might do that more often!

"we are going shopping first then we will get some dinner and then we can do whatever you like we don't need to be there till 5"

"the party starts at 5?"

"no we are helping set up" she said in a matter of fact tone

"oh ok well let's go"

-- at a cafe--

"Paige I can't believe you just did that" Katie said in-between her laughter

"I didn't do it on purpose and now my head hurts!" I protested

"Paige you should have seen your face it was so funny"

"I DIDN'T REALISE THERE WAS A GLASS DOOR THERE AND IT HURT WHEN I SMASHED MY FACE INTO IT" I shouted at her, not in a mean way and then I burst out laughing too I guess it was funny but it wasn't at the time.

"ok ok but I wish I recorded it" she took a sip from her coffee

"well we can go home now if you want" I nodded and grabbed my bags and my coffee in its plastic cup.

We had both bought 2 outfits for the night one was more casual and the other was a clubbing outfit

By the time we got to Katie's it was time to get ready.

I went upstairs and put on my casual outfit. It was some shorts that had been accessorised with studs, they were short shorts that we're frayed at the bottom, I was self conscious of the fact they were so short but Katie had picked me out some tights and told me I would look great. The tights were black and turned almost see through above the knee with a solid black line up the middle kind of like suspenders I still wasn't very comfortable. I had on a top that says 'smile' that tucks into the shorts and finally some black flats.
