I have been studying at school for a week now. Learnt how to operate and manage a village. The process of learning the content had been tough for me since I like to run around the grassy field, I can’t sit down for a long time and absorb the information into my brain. This had been a huge task set by my mother. While I have been in confusion of trying to understand the teaching materials in classes during the whole week, I had noticed a girl has been sitting by herself. She looked very scared and looked like she had no confidence in herself, but she was very focused in jotting down notes. I am curious why she does not go to talk to people and make friends. Maybe I should go up to her when class finishes.

1 hour later

“Ok, this concludes the end of class. Thank you for attending,” said the teacher. As soon as the teacher finished the last word, I threw my portable black board in my rack sack, get ready to charge over to the scared-lack of confidence girl…

…However, I just remembered that Carlour was with me so I have to try to talk to the scared-lack of confidence girl later.

The day had ended in a flash of light, I had no chance to talk to the ‘girl’, which made me regret of not talking to her during the day. I have to wait until the start of next week since we only attend classes Monday to Friday, since today was Friday.

**

Monday, the day where I dread to go back to school since I love to have my free time discovering new plants, new animals and other things I discover while I explore around the acre of field behind my house. While I was thinking of all this, I saw the scared-lack of confidence girl walking to school ahead of me. To catch her up I pick up my pace, when I am within touching distance I tapped on her shoulder to get her attention. The girl turned around in fright, like a little squirrel. “Oh! Hello, sorry if I scare you, I was thinking I should say hi to you,” I said in a gentle voice to calm her down a bit.

“Hello,” she replied softly and quickly.

“I am Silver, we are in the same class. I am wondering why you are always by yourself?”

“No” she whispered.

“No? What do you mean?” as I asked her.

“I am not always by myself…” I was slightly confused when she announced that she was not by herself, I waited patiently for her to continue her sentence. She paused for a long time and then continued.  “…my glasses is broken.” I was still slightly confused so I waited patiently for her to carry on. She continued and finished her sentence in a flash, “my glasses are being fixed so I need to sit at the front to see the board.”

It was hard to pick up what she said, but I managed to pick some of the main keywords. I was still wondering why she sat by herself so I asked softly, “Then… where did you sat before you moved to sit at the front.” She looked at me as a response. Her eyes fixed on me as she wanted to tell me something. I look back at her with gentles eyes tell her, ‘speak up, I won’t bite.’ When she received the message she carried on and said, “next to Carlour.”

What? What does she means by ‘next to Carlour’? My eyes widen in shock and moved step back a little bit from what she told me. How can Carlour leave her alone?

“………ay” a mumble came from the scared-lack of confidence girl that break the thought I was having. I did not hear a single word she said. I looked at her and ask her to repeat it again. She spoke up once again and said quickly like she is in a hurry, “I told her to stay.”
