Chapter Fifty: Its old friend

So just a quick one. In this story I've gone for a slightly different approach. I have 1st POVs but also NO POV or I may start it off with a no POV but don't say it but I hope that makes sense. I find this easier to do certain things with the plot or keep you interested. I hope you like it. Also I know a lot POVs at mo are Arrow's but he is the main character and these plots involve him a lot but hope you still enjoy it. Thanks for reading.

Paul's POV

To have been caught in the explosion had been very unlucky on my part as Colin convinced me to go check on Harry.

Now I'm leaning against a wall with a banging headache, burnt arms and Harry in tears next to me banged up from the rubble falling with the explosion but that wasn't the reason to why we hadn't moved. No, we haven't moved because we have a guy in a mask with a gun standing in front of us.

I've had enough with guns. I've had enough of dealing with these types of people. Going through all that has happened, I'm surprised I've even managed to get any of my university work done and next year will be harder too. But as Colin has said before life has a funny way of chucking you off course rather quickly.

I know there is at least two people with masks here but maybe three as this guy don't look like the two guys Colin and I had seen entering the waiting area.

"Hmm. You two going to be any trouble?"

"Depends what your next move is," I say to him.

"I've had my fun. I just need to find my brothers," he says.

"Well go then," Harry said so quietly I only just about made out what he said.

"You two just stay out my way!" He retorts before he leaves through the rubble and back towards the rest of the hospital which would still be in tacked.

"You think it's your bad luck or mine?" Harry asks me.

"I like to say it's one of us but I don't think it is. Arrow is in trouble," I say getting to my feet.

"How you know that?"

"Just this strange feeling I have. Same way I felt like you needed my help. Come," I say getting to my feet and offering my hand to him. Arrow had been closer with Harry over the last year then I had, but university takes a lot of my time but I'll still try keep him safe if I could. He is my half brother like Arrow is at the end of the day.

"Don't you think that's strange?"

"Probably," I laugh not in the mood to think to much about it at the moment.

"We best go check our brother is safe then," said Harry.

"That's the plan."

Arrow's POV

I honestly don't know how I find myself once again in a situation I can't control, a situation I feel absolutely powerless in. All I can think about is Colin unconcious on the ground and my son standing in front of a man that clearly didn't like me very much and my company Embrace.

Lilly standing by with an arrow and bow, my heart racing in my chest, my body screaming at me again with pain.

"If I go with you. Will you harm no one else," I say to the man who curiously looked at his current situation with expression of this could be fun. I've seen this kind of expression on many other people's faces before. It's never a good thing.

"You are no fool Arrow. I can see that. If you allow me to take you with me and Cayden I'll do no more harm. You have my word."

"Bullshit. People like you don't know what that means," Lilly says raising the bow.

"Lilly...I know you just want to save me but look at everyone that's hurt already."

"So what they are worth more then your life? Fuck that Arrow! I can't accept that. You have been put through hell. This guy will be just as bad I have a strange feeling about him," says Lilly.

"Well you would be completly correct. I give you a choice young lady. Save Tyler or save Arrow your choice," he says as he runs right towards Tyler and I.

I push Tyler quickly towards Lilly taking the man's fall attack as we fall across the floor crashing into a metal bed that had been left in the corridor knocking the wind out of me.

His weight fully on me feels like my body is straining. I try push him off me but he grabs my arm where I had been shot.

I scream out in pain it echoing down the corridor as I watch an arrow flying towards his back but it never made it the women who had been with him knocking the arrow away with a strange looking sword.

"Thank you for that," the old man says.

"Any day for you father," she smiles before she winks at me.

"Lilly run! Get Tyler out of here!" I shout at her. "I won't forgive you if you let them hurt him," I say harshly but I can't watch Tyler suffer. I've seen him hurt enough, my heart can't take this any more.

The old man pulls out some strange looking hand cuffs pulling me up from the ground and getting his daughter to cuff my hands behind my back making it look easy.

This isn't happening...why is this happening? What the fuck is wrong with people. Why? What real risk is my company to his? What is this man trying to cover up.

"You never know Arrow I might like you enough for you to enjoy it too," he whispers into my ear as he drags me towards waiting area his daughter behind us ignoring Tyler and Lilly altogether now which made me feel slightly relieved.

But my relieve had died in a heartbeat as I watch in horror as those two men had showed up, disarming and knocking out Lilly and grabbing Tyler as they followed us with Cayden with them too.

"No! Not my son!" I scream struggling against the old man now.

"We aren't going to let such young boy go Arrow. You soon see why," he laughs as he continues to drag me.

What? Such a young...I have a horrible feeling in my gut now. Something is not right here...are these people after young kids for a reason?

And why hadn't they taken Tyler before or offered him to escape. "You see Arrow. My orders are final. So what I say goes," he said as we reached out side by a long black limo. He chucks me inside first which I go to try escape out the other door but the women grabs my hair and pushes me all the way down the limo before joining next to me grabbing some sort of injection from a box that had been placed neatly in here.

"What is that," I begin but she had already put the injection into my arm.

Nothing seems to be...pain irrupts through my whole body. Pain that felt even worse then getting my foot stuck in that trap...my whole body started to shake...then darkness hit me, greeting me as its old friend the world fading away completely.
