Chapter 19

Haruto POV

Smashed. Crushed. Wrecked.

That's how I felt when Lyn staring at Junkyu Hyung with meaningful expression then randomly asking about appendicitis shit. I wasn't able to register at first. It never came to my mind that the guy who I love and hurt the most is the same guy who saved my life.

I don't believe in such coincidence but the thing called reality went down into my throat, stuck in my lungs and  twisted my gut when the words handsome koala came out from her mouth. The nickname she use whenever she's bragging about my savior long time ago.

I turned to look at JeongWoo, he seemed realize the same thing. He stared at me. His face became paler and paler.

"Will you marry me?"

She said it. She actually said it, as she promised to us, to herself. JeongWoo shook his head slightly, warily. He moved his eyes back and forth between me and some outdoor area behind the glass wall.

I nodded and mouthed 'waist' to him, he responded with 'mouth'. And within seconds I grabbed Lyn by wrapping my arms over her own from behind, while JeongWoo covered her mouth with his hand.

"Guys, don't mind us. Friends stuff." Said JeongWoo, grinning, as we forcefully brought Lyn outside.

Lyn kind of small, I could easily lift her up from the ground. She kicked her legs on the air, wiggled her body for me to let go of her.

"Mhhmghhmfp." She mumbled against JeongWoo's palm.

The boys looked dumbfounded, especially Junkyu Hyung. His hand still hanged on the air just like how it was when Lyn hold him, even after JeongWoo shut the glass door behind us.

"What the fuck are you two doing?!" Lyn slapped the back of our heads at the same time after we set her free.

"It should be us who ask you that! Why you suddenly ask my boyfriend to marry you?!" JeongWoo rubbed his head.

"Lyn, please tell me it isn't true. You mistaken him with someone else, right?" Asked JeongWoo, almost begging.

"How I wish I was wrong! I don't get it, why the fuck the two of you are so dumb!" She slapped the back of our heads again. "He has been around you for years and none of you found out about it until now!"

"Why you never say anything to me? You also seen his pictures for years now, in my office, at home?!" I retorted.

"First of all, since when I give you information unless I'm a hundred percent sure its a valid information? You'll be dead even before Hyunbin Oppa stabbed you if I don't have filters on my mouth." She crossed her arms and looking at me angrily. "Second of all, I had my suspicion from his pictures and the fact that JW Group own the same hospital I brought the two of you in. But that's all I have."

"But Lyn.." I tried to say something but she cut me off.

"I clearly told both of you everything I knew about him. How he called himself Handsome Koala, his favorite pastry, dimples, his blood type, his appendicitis surgery, even his cute nasal voice. And both of you didn't even suspicious that Kim Junkyu is my Handsome Koala?!"

"Lyn.."

"Shut up Woo! I haven't finished yet!" She glared at JeongWoo. "Now let me ask both of you. Did you two ever asked him whether he had saved someone's life? Donating his blood to a stranger? I don't know, maybe his other good deeds."

"He's never one to brag about helping others, Lyn.." I said, JeongWoo nodded in agreement.

"Fine, I can tell that. Now, did you guys even know if he had surgery before? Or something happened in his past that probably harmed him?" She asked in more demanding tone. Facing us like a mother scolding her children.
