Chapter 28

Haruto POV

"How was it with JeongWoo?" I asked Junkyu Hyung, half whispering as we are at the kids room. We both laying down on our sides with the twins sleeping in between us.

I saw him laughing with JeongWoo at the porch when I came back to cottage with Lyn, I had assumed his one-on-one session with JeongWoo went well. Mine with Lyn was pretty good, she at least no longer as angry with JeongWoo as she was this morning.

"I feel bad." He answered as he pulled Ruto's blanket up to the boy shoulders. He then patted Ruto over his blanket, humming my future son deep into his sleep.

I watched as he does so and I could see how he really love his kids. It reminded me of our conversation earlier during lunch. JeongWoo had warned me how Junkyu Hyung pressing the kids with rules to maintain their obedience.

So far I haven't see him went overboard with the twins, but going for a parenting consultation might be a good precaution. Besides, I probably need to attend one too if I want to raise the twins with him.

"Why you feel bad?" I asked. My voice made Ruka squirmed on her sleep. I patted her over her blanket gently to soothe her, mimicking what her dad did to her brother. Junkyu Hyung smiled as I do so.

"He was scared Lyn going to reject him like I did to him. He wasn't sure Lyn love him more than just a bestfriend." He sighed.

I frowned. What kind of stupid nonsense is that. Lyn indeed had couple of boyfriends when we were in US but she never dated any of them seriously. Every time she broke up, her reasoning was always the same; they're not JeongWoo. Whatever that even means.

I carefully shimmied out from the bed and walk around to Junkyu Hyung side. He was just staring at Ruto who still peacefully sleeping while being completely oblivious to all the troubles in the world.

"It wasn't your fault." I whispered to his ear and kissed his cheek. "Let's get outside and chill with Lyn and JeongWoo."

He nodded and got up from the bed. We checked on the twins one more time before we went out from the room. My two bestfriends were chilling in the living area, each of them busy with their phones while random movie playing on TV. Both already changed into a comfortable t-shirt and pajama pants, much like me and Junkyu Hyung.

"Should we order some chicken and soju?" Junkyu Hyung suggested as he sat down on the rug in front of the TV, his back leaned against the sofa. The other two agreed though their eyes still stuck on their phones.

I went to sit next to Junkyu Hyung after I placed my order through the wire phone in the cottage. It took about thirty minutes for our food to arrived and Lyn and JeongWoo joined us on the rug, forgetting their phones as the eldest amongst us demanded.

"Which day of the week do chicken hate the most?" Asked JeongWoo, swinging his drumstick. It was his fifth attempt to crack a joke. His first and second attempts went out of the window along with two empty bottles of soju. He got a smack on his head from Lyn for his third attempt and all of us rolled our eyes for his fourth.

"Sun day?" I raised my brow.

"TENG! Wrong! It's FRY-DAY!" He laughed out loud.

"YAA MWOOYAAAAA!" Junkyu Hyung yelled. He threw a chicken bone straight to JeongWoo's face and pouted. Lyn and I laughing, not because of JeongWoo's joke but from the chicken bone that landed right on his nose.

"Enough with your stupid dad jokes." Lyn chuckled. She poured the third bottle of soju to our glasses. Probably going to be our last bottle since we have kids around.

"Whhyyy.. you like my dad jokes tho." JeongWoo protested. Lyn rolled her eyes, didn't even bother to say anything.

Junkyu Hyung shook his head and stifled a laugh as his eyes traveled to Lyn, JeongWoo and me. I gave him a questioning look. "It must be fun to be with the three of you in high school." He said to answer my silent question. "I only have Jihoon in middle school and high school."
