I'm never going to Paris with Harry.
It's been a day since he took my breath away in the bathroom right before he scarred me and stole a little more of my innocence. And I haven't yet talked to him today because he's at work, but I'm still confused by everything.
One minute he's ignoring me, the next minute he corners me in the bathroom, and after that, he's pulling himself off of me like I'm a piece of cake and he wants to save some for later.
After we finished a small conversation we had after we kissed, he snuck out of the bathroom and left me on the counter, telling me he had to go smoke a cigarette.
Before he left, he looked at my lips, grabbed my face, almost kissed me, but then pulled away and walked out of the room before he could go through with it—he just left me sitting there on the counter, tired and confused, with zero idea what was going on in his head.
I'm sure he's just as confused as I am, but for a while, I thought this is what he wanted. Now I'm not so sure and I hate that it feels complicated.
Things were easier when he gave me butterflies and I acted like it was a stomach ache instead.
"Mornin' sunshine." Rizzo comes running out of her house in tall white heels, a yellow plaid skirt, and a long white shirt that has ruffles on the edge of her sleeves. "Sorry I'm late. I can't believe that bitch called you, the nerve."
My head shakes as I laugh. "Yeah, me neither."
I woke up this morning to a phone call from Stephanie. The minute I answered it and heard her voice I was expecting the worst. But instead, she was asking me to come in today for a 'chat'.
The minute I agreed, just eager to hear what she had to say, I got off the phone and tried to get ahold of Harry. I don't know why it was my first instinct, but it was, and I needed a ride.
Zayn however picked up the phone and told me he was at the shop. So because Dean was there too and I had no ride, I walked to Rizzo's and asked if she could walk the rest of the way with me. It's not too far, I could've gone on my own, but another person went missing and everyone's on edge.
"You're not going to believe who it was, Maya. I am freaking out." She says in a rant as she reaches into her bag and digs around with a cigarette between her lips—she only ever smokes when she's stressed. "I got a phone call from Tommy this morning."
"Tommy?" I repeat her worriedly. "Oh my God! Riz don't tell me he-"
"No. No. No. Tommy is okay. His sister is okay." Her head shakes rapidly before her lips pinch shut around her cigarette until she lights the edge with her shaky hands. "He's been calling me lately but this time I almost threw up. It wasn't a normal conversation. He was crying and I--"
