"God, I'm friends with a bunch of idiots" I groaned walking through the gates of Sandy Point Highschool.

The twin's Truckie and Tom were mucking around causing Edie and Beau to pull them back by their biceps gaining a few judging stares from our classmates.

"I take high offense to that" Truckie scoffed coming up to walk beside me. "You love me" I cheekily smiled up at the boy who rolled his eyes in response. I took a deep breath following behind my friends toward the main entrance.

"Negative" he shook his head looking down at me but instead of responding I childishly poked my tongue out at him making him smile.

"Cmon let's get inside" I quickly took a few steps to catch up to him considering I was trying to walk beside a 6'1 football player whose biceps were the same size as my face. I grabbed his wrist pulling him closer to the building feeling like a mother trying to manhandle her child. The second I let go of his wrist I watched in slo-mo as the idiot tripped over his own feet and landed face-first on the fresh grass.

"Oh my god Truck!" I gasped, "Are-you...okay-" I tried to get out before I burst into laughter right as the group all erupts in laughter with me watching the scene unfold. I felt my face turning as red as a tomato and I placed my hands on my knees trying to calm down. Edie and Beau were no different from my state, Tommy was wrestling his twin in the grass but Reece stood with an unimpressed look.

Yes, we're all friends with an idiot, but we love him nonetheless, and boy does he provide entertainment.

Truckie and Tommy finally broke apart and pulled themselves up from the ground with both their cheeks flushed red and grass stains all over their clothes. "That never happened" Truckie narrowed his eyes and pointed around the group. I flashed him an innocent smile.

"Bloody hell just learn how to walk Truckie" Reece sighed indicating he was in a bad mood as usual, "Can't be that hard" he scoffed which I rolled my eyes at.

"Listen here!" I don't know who you think you are but i'" Truckie stormed up to Reece but is cut off but him slamming his elbow into Truckie's torso. The wounded boy let out a painful groan causing other students around us to stare in sheer curiosity. He began vigorously rubbing the side of his ribs with a slight frown.

Reece simply crossed his arms over looking unbothered as ever. "I'll get you back for that...but when you're least expecting it" Truckie threatened looking directly at Reece who was clearly amused at this stage much like myself.

"I think my body might break down" he exclaimed dramatically leaning his body weight on me.

I let out a breath "Jesus christ you're going to crush me" I exclaimed trying my hardest to push him away from me. "Lace please kiss it better" he stood up straight but pouted his lips in my direction.

"Oh was it your lips he hurt?" I faked a sympathetic look as he looked at me with his puppy dog eyes. "Not a chance" I whispered and shook my head making him frown.

"This very well could be my last moment on earth and you don't care!" I rolled my eyes at his dramatics, "Yeah you're right I don't care" I shrugged my shoulders but giggled.

I skipped ahead to fall in line with my best friend Edie right as we entered the school hallways. "See you losers later," Edie said as I waved goodbye to the boys and Beau before we quickly stopped by our lockers and walked to find our period one class.

"Thank fuck it's our last day," I said happily as we walked into the small classroom. I looked over and Edie nodded her head in agreement, "this summer is going to be magical I can feel it" she playfully nudged her elbow into my torso with a bright smile.
