Turns out Billy was a long time friend of Zeldas that recently died. Zelda said that when they get to forks she will go and get him.
They had officially been driving for a few days, not much has happened other then them getting clothes.
Basically they stopped at a small shop and just made up the same excuse to why they are dressed so oddly. They only managed to buy two flower printed dresses that were on sale. They weren't that nice but they didn't exactly have any money.
Zelda told them that when they got to the house in forks, she had clothes there for them.
Alyssa and Jackie weren't huge fans of dresses but honestly they had bigger problems. Like trying not to get caught by the asylum for escaping.
They both knew that the asylum would try and find them but they also wouldn't post anything on the news. Since the asylum probably didn't want to draw attention to themselves since they had been doing some very illegal stuff.
If everyone was to know that two girls escaped the police would have to look into it. Making the police investigate the asylum there for the two of them weren't that worried. But still definitely cautious.
So they had made the great decision to buy hair dye, scissors and a hair brush. Fun.
They also decided to change their names. Jones wasn't even their real name, they had just given foster kids that last name when they went to the asylum.
For Jackie it was easy her grandma had raised her and her maiden name was Morris. So now Jackie was Jackie Morris.
For Alyssa it was a bit harder since she didn't really have a name to go off of. Like Zelda's last name was Jones. Which made Alyssa laugh at the irony of it all.
So she made it up and went with Clark because why the fuck not?
Alyssa Clark did sound pretty damn cool after all.
They had stopped at a mall and decided that they would cut their hair in the bathroom there. They needed a mirror and they also didn't want to pee in the bushes anymore so they went in.
Zelda and Lily followed them wanting to see what this haircut was going to be like.
Once the four of them got inside- only two of which could actually be seen by Alyssa- they headed straight for the bathroom.
They got inside and looked through all the stalls making sure no body was in there before locking the door.
"Right so... your hair is black so we can't really dye it without bleach and mines brown so we don't really have many options." Jackie stated as Alyssa set everything out in front of them.
