The Start of Tragedy

The bars kept him from escaping. He sat on the cold ground with hands covering his despair face. Denshi didn't want to cry but the tears kept escaping.

Denshi had been in that cell for a day and no one would tell him what he exactly did nor show evidence he committed a crime. And now, he could be heading for the chopping block and yet, he had no clue what he did.

He couldn't see Mai, his mother. Not even Gojo.

All hope is lost for the boy until a dark silhouette enters the room and Denshi's shackles rattle as he stare up and gets up when he realizes it wasn't any of the cloaked men who only came to serve him food. It was instead, a recognizable face that made him feel some sort of relief.

"Mecha? Mecha! It's you, I can't believe it I-I thought I'd never see you again."

His friend says nothing but takes a couple steps forward.

"Do you know what's going on? How are my family? Mai and the others? Please, I'm dying to know what's going on."

"Have they interrogated you yet?" Denshi nearly gasped at the words and took a step back from the bars. His words sounded stern, as if he was not around here to play games. This wasn't the Kokichi Muta he knew.

"U-m...no. They haven't told me anything at all! I'm so confused by all this."

"Good, good." Now he starts to breath.

"What? Hey, Kokichi. What's going on? Tell me, TELL ME, please!"

His friend starts to walk in circles and this would only draw Denshi crazy. He held onto the bars tightly trying his best to squeeze his head in between but it was pointless. For the first time, he wanted to grab his friend by the neck and scream at him. His patience was at an end.

"KOKICHI, DAMMIT! JUST TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!"

"I-I don't know if I can," He sounds like he wants to break. Behind that puppet of his, it was clear he carried a heavy weight within him.

"You didn't come all this way just to tell me nothing. It's okay, you can tell me!"

Mechamaru finally looks at him,

"Are you sure?"

"Y-Yes! Anything! We're friends, aren't we? How can I ever judge you?"

Mechamaru nearly snarled at those last words. And that's what scared him. Even if he told him the truth, something in gut said he'd be furious regardless. But he had no choice, didn't he? After all, he snuck into the most confined places in the elder temple. He had to tell him.

"Den.." He starts off softly, "What I'm about to tell is alot to take in.."
