3rd POV-
Elijah made his way out of his mates room, fear was building up in the pits of his stomach, but anger was swirling into the mixture. The scientist knew something. He had to. Making his way down the stairs to the basement, thoughts of his mate rolling in his mind as he laid eyes on the blonde scientist.
"Ah, the Noble one, right?" Elijah looked at Wes with a raised eyebrow. "I hear things working with the supernatural. It was only a matter of time before I met an Original. Although, I really thought it would be the Psychotic one or the Hybrid. They seem more my speed." He spoke with no care, like he wasn't afraid.
"Why are you so calm?" Elijah questioned. Flexing his fingers to hold back.
"I'll be rescued. I have made some-" He raised his brows. "Interesting friends in my line of work." Elijah chuckled.
"It's funny that you think you will be making it through the night alive."
"You won't kill me. I over heard someone saying you all wanted to let the elf get her revenge." He said, his voice cracking slightly to show fear.
"That was the plan, but I need information and if you die during the extraction of necessary information then I'm sure she'll forgive me." Elijah said, shooting a polite looking sinister smile. He looked truly sinister with how he was smiling at his prey, adjusting his sleeves that were rolled up before opening the cell door. "Now tell me everything you know about Elves." He demanded. Wes stepped back, fear in his eyes.
"I'll tell you whatever you want. But there is no theory on how to heal her. Your efforts to save her won't work." He tried to explain, but Elijah zoomed to him, grabbing him by the throat and slamming him into the cell wall.
"Now that's not going to work." Elijah stated calmly.
"She's weak by Iron-" Wes started as he saw Elijah's face change, the vampire in him begging to come out for a bite. "It seems the Iron is spreading through her still. The Iron in blood is keeping her from healing properly." Wes rushed out. Trying to think of what he could. He gave Elijah a confused look though. This pulled Elijah in. "I'm curious though. If she is weak to Iron... Why was she wearing a ring made of it?" Elijah froze. Things were coming together, clicking into place. The ring. Who gave her the ring? The front door slammed open as footsteps were heard, Elijah dropped Wes and locked his cell back up, running up the stairs to see Klaus looking frantic.
"Lacy is gone." He announced. "Fern- I mean Danial told Rebekah that she was the one who got him caught. She's working with Wes." He growled out. That's when it clicked.
"Lacy gave Hilda the ring." Elijah announced. Seeing Klaus's confused face, he explained. "Our guest used Iron on her, the ring was made of Iron."
"I'm going to kill that mutt." Klaus growled out.
"No you won't." Someone spoke up behind them at the door. Elijah looked past his brother to see Danial and Rebekah. "We'll find her and then let Hilda heal from her." He explained. Klaus smirked, looking at his sisters mate.
"Good thinking, mate." He looked to his sister. "Keep this one, he's smart." He told her. Rebekah rolled her eyes at her brother.
"Let's go find this wolf. She can't have gotten far. I'll Damon and Stefan to keep an eye on our guest." Elijah said, pulling his phone out.
"Have the Bennett witch come by as well. She might be able to slow the Iron in Hilda's system." Danial told them. He knew his Aunt was in danger. She could be dead in a matter of hours. If they weren't quick enough. That wasn't an option though. They had to find Lacy and heal Hilda. They had no choice.
With that- Elijah made a few calls, the Salvatores agreeing to hang around as long as Damon got a bit of action with Wes for the 5yrs he was in the care of the Whitmore's. Stefan was going to mostly just keep an eye on Damon. Bonnie came over as well, Enzo tagging along with her. Not trusting the other vampires not to mess with his mate.
