"See you next time......... Or let me have your number" Jamilah said as we left class,
"yeah okay, here" I gave her my number as she smiled leaving.
"Wait" she stopped and looked back at me "you're a maslim right". "Muslim" she corrected. I smiled apologetically
"Right, Muslim but uhm I thought this thing uhm.......
"Hijab" she cut me off smiling. "My bad".
"It's fine, it's hijab and I'm a Muslim" she smiled.
"Right. Is hijab allowed?" I asked confused.
"I'm honestly not so sure about that but I'm first class you get your say and can influence some policies, I'm sure that's what my parents did" she said and smiled and I smiled back trying to hide my confusion.
"Don't worry you'd get to learn more about these classes." she smiled and I nodded.
"How was she?" A familiar voice asked after she left and I turned, it was Aaron.
"She's nice and calm and pretty", I commented.
"What do you think?" I asked quickly.
"She'd seem like someone who'd put me in my place and treat me like shit", he confessed and I laughed.
"She seemed that way to me too but she turned out friendlier. She only looks sassy". I smiled and he shrugged.
"I'd try talking to her I hope she doesn't think I'm tryna ask her out or set her up and treat me bad." He said making a face and I smiled.
"She won't" I assured and he smiled.

"How's class going?", Chase asked.
"Good so far", I smiled.
"How many friends?", he asked.
"Uhm.... Aaron, Jamilah, Reiya, Jamal, and Riele", I listed.
"That's great, Let's go for lunch", He said and we walked together into the cafeteria.
I looked around it was just like Fountain heights but bigger. I followed him to a table a group of people were already seated there.
"Y'all meet Tykirah." He smiled.
"Hi Tykirah." It was Jamilah.
So she's close to those guys.
"Hi." I smiled and sat.
"This is Ethan." Chase said referring to some brunette guy with green eyes.
He was putting on a frown than a normal look with headphones on. He didn't even glance at me.
Weird.
"This is Leah." He said, pointing at a yellow skin girl. Obviously not white.
"Hi." She smiled, revealing her dimples and white teeth.
Aww... "Hi." I smiled, trying to make my smile match hers.
"And me!" Aaron jumped in grinning like a child and I laughed.
"Of course Aaron." Chase rolled his eyes.
Okay, so it was Chase, Aaron, Jamilah, Ethan, Leah and me. Alright. I got my lunch and started eating.
