Jimin had just recently entered his new apartment. The smell of the new furniture and books had already engulfed the room. Jimin had smiled for the first time in his life.

Which, unfortunately, didn't last for long...

He heard his phone ring, he knew he would regret it if he picked... But he picked it up nevertheless. The next thing he heard was just filled with horrible shouting and swearing. His parents never really supported him in following his ambitions. All they did was hit him until he had no energy to talk to them.

He had enough of his parents and so, he called Namjoon and Seokjin hyungs, This sweet couple had allowed their dongsaeng to stay with them. He started teaching dance to the kids along with Hoseok Hyung. All his hyungs gave him an allowance for helping them, he felt bad... But again, he would pay them back one day. 

It all happened so suddenly that his best friend, Taehyung had rented an apartment for Jimin... as a return for helping him go through a tough time in his life. This left Jimin in tears. Taehyung comforted him by hugging him all day and saying that it was alright.

The landlord suggested Jimin have a roommate move into his flat, this would prevent him from being lonely and also would help in paying off the rent. Jimin agreed. In a few days, he had his roommate move in.

Jimin watched as the boy entered, he wore all black. He was struggling with his luggage but then managed to pick up everything with one hand. Jimin, being the kindhearted man he was, helped the man with the rest. After all the luggage was in its place, Jimin offered the man some water. The man gulped it down and then spoke. His voice laced with softness.

"Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook... Nice to meet you. " He offered a hand, Jimin accepted the hand without hesitation.

" Hello, I'm Park Jimin... It's a pleasure to have you here. " He said and smiled.

It had already been quite a while with the two boys living together as roommates, They came to know a lot about each other and were comfortable around one another. Jungkook also came to know about Jimin's parents, he comforted Jimin the whole time he was talking about how they hit him.

Jungkook was happy knowing that Jimin trusted him with such things. Slowly, Jimin gained confidence with Jungkook's help. He soon confronted his parents on call... Now it was his turn to raise his voice. As soon as the call ended, Jimin came out of his room, with tears in his eyes. Jungkook walked up to him from the kitchen, his eyes filled with worry.

"They still d-don't understand m-me." Jimin sobbed.

"Aww, Jiminie Hyung... Come here. " Jungkook said with arms open for Jimin.

Jimin ran up to Jungkook and hugged him tightly, Jungkook smiled and hugged him back.

" They said, it's better for me to die and that they hate a son like me. " Jimin said after a pause. Tears formed in his eyes again. Jungkook gasped.

" They are so so so cruel to say that to my cute Jiminie- Hyung. Remember that I love you a lot, Hyungie. " Jungkook said, not regretting anything, he had to say this someday... He fell for Jimin as soon as he started living with him.

He loved everything about his Jimin, his smile, his laugh, his cute puppy eyes when he wanted something. He loved the feeling of Jimin around him.

Jimin's eyes widened as he looked up to face Jungkook. Jimin was shocked. He looked at Jungkook as if asking if the younger was serious. Jungkook nodded while smiling... Within seconds, the smile reflected on Jimin. 

Jimin got on his tippy toes and pecked Jungkook softly. He blushed and replied.

"I love you too, Kookie." Jimin hid his face into Jungkook's chest and giggled.

All that mattered to them was each other now. Jimin knew Jungkook was his home.
