Remember

2013

Location: unknown

She was running, but she didn't know where to, but she ran as fast as her feet could carry her away. Everything spun around her and seemed blurry. Even her mind seemed blurry. She saw blurry faces, memories that were slowly dissolving. She tried to hold on to these memories, but they sagged from her hands like sand. A void formed in her mind and she panicked more.

The snow crunched under her black boots, the bottom of which was a little red. Her suit was a little damaged in some places. Her snow-white hair flickered through the cold wind as she ran through the forest. She didn't know where she was or what her destination was. She didn't know if she was running from someone or running to someone. She heard voices, footsteps not far away from her and ran faster. She couldn't be caught, she couldn't be caught. She saw movement right and left from her and kept running until she came upon a clearing.

She was in the middle of the clearing and looked around frantically. Footsteps were coming from all directions and she looked around helplessly. She discovered two knives in the thigh holster of her long suit, which was skin tight, and reached for the two knives. Her knuckles turned white as she gripped tightly around the knives, preparing for the inevitable fight. "Drop the knives and raise your hands" a voice commanded and a man stepped out of the bushes.

He had blond hair and wore a dark blue suit with a shield on his back. His blue eyes widened when he saw the young woman in front of him. He froze at the sight of her. The woman threw a knife at him that flew straight at his face. It would have hit his face, too, had he not reacted quickly and caught it with one hand a few inches from his face.

The woman heard footsteps behind her and quickly turned around to avoid the fist of a red-haired woman. She caught the woman's wrist and kicked her side. She swung her knife at her, but the red-haired woman caught her arm. The blonde woman kicked the knee of the other woman and they fell to the ground together. She landed on the red-haired woman and tried to punch her face. The red-haired woman turned her head to the side in time and swung her legs around the blonde woman to change the position.

The blonde woman stabbed her knife into the other woman's shoulder, but the woman didn't even contort her face and knocked the knife out of her hand. The blonde woman banged her head against hers and grabbed the red-haired woman by the neck to change position again and stop lying on the white ground. The red-haired woman slammed her knee into her stomach and she let go of her neck.

The blonde woman jumped up and was ready to run away somehow, but she felt someone inject something into her neck. Whatever it was it worked fast and made everything spin around her. Her legs gave away and she fell, losing her balance. Strong arms caught her though and didn't let her fall to the ground again. "Don't tell me she's who I think she is" she heard the red haired woman say before everything went black.

Her eyes kept falling on her trembling hands. They lay on the table in front of her and she was fumbling with them. Slight traces of dried blood were visible. She would have preferred to hide her face in her hands, but the handcuffs that bound her hands to the table did not allow her to do so. The cold metal scraped her skin around her wrists and made them sting slightly. The young woman bit her lower lip and tried to calm herself down. But how could she? Her head was about to explode. She couldn't remember why there was blood on her hands or why the black suit, which fitted her perfectly, was torn and also had traces of blood on it. She didn't know why she was wearing it or how she had ended up here in the first place. To be more precise, she couldn't remember anything.
