The Abduction

"To present the most anticipated award of tonight, may we have the Nation's God on stage please?" - as soon as the MC ended his sentence, the bright white light fell on me.
I was on every screen as I slowly walked to the stage. The MC handed me the envelope that contained the winner's name.

"Best Actor of the Year goes to..." - I smiled as I peeked at the name.
Lee Soo ho!
I let the anticipation sink in and gradually uttered his name - "Lee Soo ho!"
Confetti and sparkles fell on Soo ho as I handed him the trophy.

"Hyung!" - he whispered.
"What is it?" -I smiled.
"I kept my promise." - he proclaimed.
"Bet you did." - I patted on his shoulder as I handed him the mic to present his acceptance speech.
"Everyone, I am really over the moon right now and you know why? Not because I got this award that so many of my colleagues eyed for. It's because..." - he gave a pause and looked at me.
"For the one who presented me this award. Well, not everyone gets the opportunity to get acknowledgement from their Idol. I was a hopeless guy. Sure I was...Until I saw Sunbaenim's acting. He is my inspiration. He's the reason why I chose acting over business. Thank you Sunbae. Thank you for encouraging me. Thank you for teaching me. Thank you for all the little things you have done for me." - tears kept rolling down Soo ho's eyes as he continued to speak.
I couldn't control my tears either. The brims of my eyes were filled with tears as I walked to him and embraced him in a hug. The audience stood up in ovation and kept clapping.

After the award show ended, an after party was thrown by the organizers and Soo ho was the chief attraction. I was drinking quietly in a corner, when Han Choi hee, my once rumoured girlfriend and co-star walked to me.
"What happened eye candy? Why sitting in a corner and drinking alone?" - She laughed.
"Was waiting for you sweetie!" -I winked at her as I took a sip from my drink.
"I see your flirting skills haven't got rusty yet, man!" - she slapped on my arm and ordered a drink.
"How's life Taehyung-ah?"- she asked taking a sip from her drink.
"Well, I am happy."- I chimed.
"And how's boyfie?" - she added.
"Good! What about you..I heard.." - before I could finish my words, Soo ho patted on my back as he whispered - "Hyung, you got a sec?"
I nodded my head and excused myself from Choi hee as I followed Soo ho to the garden of the hotel.

The moon looked beautiful tonight and it reminded me of Jungkook and our night by the seashore. A warm smile crept in my face as I started reminiscing that night.

"Hyung, you promised to give me a reward if I won the award. See, I have won. Where's my reward?" - Soo ho ventured with his hand sticking out.
"What do you want ?" - I asked while feeling the mild breeze of February.
"Can you really give it to me?"- He asked with an air of sadness in his eyes.
"You just name it."- I smiled.
"Then can you give me a chance? I really like you, hyung! I really do! Can you..." - Soo ho's eyes were searching for an answer which was impossible to give and his heart knew it.

"Soo ho, thank you! Thank you for liking me. But you know I love Jungkook, right? I can't..." - I looked at him as I gently spoke.

"I know..I know..But can I just keep on liking you? You know, I can't think of anyone else since I met you. It hurts here, hyung!" -  tear drops skipped his eyes as he continued to speak.

"Soo ho, I really like you but as a friend. You are more like a brother to me. You know right?" -I placed my hand on his shoulder as I softly spoke.

"How cruel of you, hyung! At least turn me down properly. Why are you still being nice to me?" - he palmed his face for a while then looked me. His eyes, a little red from crying, wanted to speak more.

"I think I need to go. Goodnight Sunbae!" - Soo ho drastically turned backward and left.

I heaved a sigh and took out my phone to dial Jungkook's number. Before I could do so, he called.

"Where are you?" - he asked in his usual soft tone.

"Just out for a smoke." - I answered as I lit up a cigarette.

"What's bothering you hyung?" - Jungkook seemed worried.

"You were right. Soo ho asked me out today."- I exhaled a smoke as I replied.

"What did you say to him?" - Jungkook beseeched.

"I turned him down. He looked very hurt. I really don't if he's alright.." - I responded.

"He'll come around. He's a tough guy. And well done, boyfie. When I get back, I will reward you." - Jungkook laughed.

Before I could answer him, a sharp smell got into my nose. I saw the world whirling around. I couldn't utter a word. It felt like something was choking me. I tried to call jungkook's name but someone hit me on head and the world darkened around me.
I tried to scream for help... No sound came out of my mouth.
