"Okay then, I wish to die" gasps were heard all across the room when the gods heard that the hero of Olympus wished to die "young hero why do you wish to die" asked Zeus "I want to end the suffering" he replied. the gods discussed this for some time and in the end, they "voted who wants Perseus to die" asked Zeus. 

Ares, Dionysus, Zeus, Athena, and Hera were the only ones to raise their hands then Zeus asked " who wants Perseus to live" this time Hestia,  Apollo, Poseidon, Artemis, Demeter, Hades, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hades, and Hermes raised their hands " it Is decided then, Perseus gets another wish to be granted" Percy thought to himself and decided he wanted something to keep himself occupied so he said "I want a job to keep me busy" 

suddenly the gods burst out arguing about what job I should have apollo wanted to make me take care of his sacred cows, Athena wanted to make me do the 12 labors of Hercules all of a sudden Zeus shouted "SILENCE!" all of the gods shut up instantly "I am the king so I will decide what job Perseus has to complete" most of the gods reluctantly agreed, all beside Artemis who already knew what job her father would try to propose.

"father I will not let a male travel with the hunt!" she said, "you will if I tell you to," said Zeus Percy just looked between them wondering what they were talking about so he shouted " what are you guys talking about" Zeus and Artemis both looked at him and Zeus said "you will be the next guardian of the hunt" "WHAT!" I screamed, how was I supposed to be the guardian of a group of male haters with a male-hating goddess as their leader.

"you will do as I say or face the consequences boy," stated Zeus "don't speak to my son like that" threatened Poseidon grabbing his trident Zeus saw this and reached for his master bolt when Hestia quickly added "going back to the main point when will Perseus meet up with the hunt?" " first of all swear on the Styx that you won't flirt with my hunters, boy" demanded Artemis. Percy did as she asked " you have three days to prepare boy, meet me and my hunters at pedestal park" when that was finished Zeus boomed "would anybody want to bless him?"

Hestia, Apollo, Hephaestus, Demeter, and Aphrodite raised their hands the rest of the gods flashed out. first came Hestia "I bless you with the ability to understand feelings and summon food" she then flashed out. Next was Apollo "I bless you with the ability to be decent at archery and to be able to play the most beautiful tunes" he then flashed out back to drive the sun chariot. upcoming was Hephathesus "I bless you with the ability of basic crafting and to be a fire user. afterward was Demeter I bless you with the ability to control nature.

lastly came Aphrodite "I bless you with the ability to be more handsome and to be able to summon clean clothes" Percy looked at her like seriously she then seemed to remember something.

"I will also help you get over your heartbreak" when he heard those words his head perked up "what do you mean?" he asked. "well," she said sitting him on her throne and putting a finger to his chest. He realized what she meant and blushed, but then he realized he had only rejected aphrodite because he wanted to be loyal to Annabeth, and now that they weren't together anymore he could accept Aphrodite's offer "I accept" he said. They teleported to her room and let's just say Aphrodite is lucky she didn't get pregnant.
