chapter three

It's been a few weeks and Bonnie has been beaming with happiness ever since. She has gotten to know a lot about Stefan, and these couple weeks they've got nothing but closer.

She smiled to herself as she headed to the Salvatore manor. Has she gotten to the front door she prepared herself to knock before the door swung open revealing Damon Salvatore. Shirtless.

"Oh I'm sorry..is Stefan here?"Bonnie asked and Damon smirked, "Uh yes he should be here in a while..how about you come in Bonnie?"Damon said as he stepped aside letting the teenage girl walk in.

"So Damon, how long are you staying here in Mystic Falls? Stefan tells me your leaving soon."Bonnie asked curiously. If she was being totally honest, Damon's presence always made her feel uneasy.

"Oh well I don't know..it seems like I'm going to have to postpone my little trip and stay a little longer for my little brothers sake."Damon said.

"Your lying"Bonnie said suddenly to the eldest Salvatore, surprising herself and him. "What?"He chuckled amused.

"You aren't staying for Stefan. I can tell Stefan is
uncomfortable with you being here for whatever reason, but I know you aren't staying for him. Your staying for someone or something and I hope you find that quickly so you can leave Stefan alone."Bonnie said as she stared into his blue ocean eyes.

Bonnie's heartbeat started to quicken once she saw Damon start to step towards her, closing all the personal space they had between them. Damon and Bonnie stood face to face and chest to chest. Breathing in each other's air.

Damon stared at her green earthy eyes before speaking. "You don't scare me Bonnie Bennett, and if I want to stay and torture my baby brother then that's my business. Don't think because you two are getting comfy means you can a say in what I do."He spoke sternly.

Then he grabbed her chin gently making Bonnie gasp at the surprise. "And don't act like you don't feel a way towards me..I know you."He said taking Bonnie back by surprise.

"Damon!"Bonnie heard Stefan yell making her snatch away from Damon. "Your brother is a manic"She spoke as she walked towards Stefan.

"You alright?"He asked and she nodded. "Yeah we just had a little talk.."She said looking over at Damon who was smirking.

"Yeah a little talk. Care to join Stefan?"Damon asked as he raised a glass of bourbon. Stefan mugged him. "Bonnie how about we hang out at the grille? I'll meet you there after I finish talking to Damon alright?"He said and she nodded.

"Alright"She said as she leaned in and kissed Stefan on the lips, making Damon clench his jaw in anger as he looked away from the couple.

"I'll see you later Stef.."Bonnie said leaving the manor. Stefan looked at Damon in annoyance. "Why can't you just stay away from her Damon?"Stefan asked as he started to walk up to his brother.

"Um technically she came to me little brother."He said shrugging.

"She's not Beatrice!"Stefan spat and Damon laughed. "Oh I definitely know that..she's much more better than Beatrice."Damon said smirking and Stefan punched him making Damon fly across the room.

"She's mine! Stay away Damon. I'm warning you. We both know you won't win this time. She doesn't want you. Face it. I won."Stefan said.

"We'll see baby brother. May the best brother win."Damon said with a straight face. Stefan could only walk away with no words for his brother.

"Then he just grabbed my chin and said I know you..like what the hell does that mean? He doesn't know me!"Bonnie explained to Caroline as they sat at the table in the grille waiting for Stefan to show.

"Maybe they got into a fight. Should I go check?"Bonnie asked feeling worried. "No Bonnie it will only make things worse. I'm true Stefan is fine."Caroline told her best friend.

Bonnie only frowned. "Is it bad that I feel this pull towards Damon too? I feel it with both of them and I have no idea why.."Bonnie explained.

"You should go to a psychic or something. Maybe she'll help you with your dreams and the pull thingy"Caroline said giggling.

"It's not funny Care."Bonnie said whining. "What's not funny?"Bonnie heard a familiar voice making her look up and see Stefan.

"Yay your here!"Bonnie said happily as she got up to go and hug him. Stefan chuckled. "I did tell you I was going to meet you here. You though I forgot?"He asked.

"No I didn't think you forgot. I just thought you and Damon had got into a big fight so I was going to go check on you. I was worried Stefan."Bonnie explained and Stefan smiled.

"Everything is alright Bonnie. Damon and I always have disagreements. Damon will always be Damon."He said and Bonnie nodded.

"So is this decades dance next month..you wanna go with me?"Bonnie asked cheesing. "Of course. I would love to go with you."Stefan said kissing her. But suddenly she got a flash of something.

"Stefan.."She heard a woman's voice say his name shakily. She sounded terrified.

"Why are you covered in blood?"She asked as she took a step back. Stefan only chuckled.

"Beatrice you just unleashed the monster in me"And before she knew it, Stefan had her pinned against the wall tearing into her flesh.

"STEFAN!"She screamed bloody murder. Then she heard someone running towards. "Stefan..what have you done."Damon's voice was heard.

Then her body collapsed onto the floor as Stefan stared back to look at his brother. Sorrow filled Damon's eyes.

"Stefan you killed her."

Bonnie jumped back in horror as she stared at Stefan. "W-What was that?"She asked shaken up. "What was what Bonnie?"He said confused.

"Stefan who did you kill?"Bonnie asked. "Bonnie what are you talking about?"Stefan asked. "Bonnie are you alright?"Caroline asked her best friend.

Bonnie looked at her best friend in horror. "We have to go right now Caroline."Bonnie said quickly. "Bonnie why-"Bonnie suddenly grabbed her arm pulling her away from Stefan.

"Come on. Right now!"Bonnie said rushing out the grille with Caroline. "Bonnie!"Stefan yelled after her as they rushed out.

Stefan stood there confused. She knew something. He thought to himself. But what could she have known that had her so shaken up? He asked himself.
