chapter seven

"Bonnie!"I heard someone shout as I felt jumping on my bed, I opened my eyes and met my best friends face smiling down at me.

"What time is it?"I groaned. "8:00 in the morning now get upppp"Caroline said as she pulled me out the bed. "For what? We don't have school"I said.

"Yes but look!"Caroline said holding up an red envelope.  "We got invited to a ball!"Caroline cheered and I looked at her confused.

"A ball? By who?"I asked as I took the envelope from her. "The Mikaelson's..who else?"Caroline said and Bonnie narrowed her eyes.

"Is this some type of set up?"I asked. "It could be, but we're all going. We want to see what Klaus is up too and you know what they say. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"Damon said as he appeared in the bedroom.

"Who's we? Because I'm not sure I wanna go to the ball of a man who tried to kill me remember?"I said as I got out the bed following behind Caroline.

"He won't touch you as long as I'm there"Damon said as his eyes darkened for a minute, I looked at him in question before he quickly turned away.

"Geesh what's going on in here? We having a party in my bedroom?"Stefan asked as he walked into the bedroom walking over to me as he kissed me. I watched as Damon rolled his eyes.

"Caroline woke me up to tell me about some ball the Mikaelson's are having"I said shrugging. I watched as Stefan glared at Damon but he didn't say anything.

"It's a test.."Stefan suddenly spoke up making me look over at him. "What does that mean?"I asked and Damon rolled his eyes.

"It means judgy..that you have no choice but to go"Damon said "But-"

"As much as I hate to agree with Damon..his right. It's a reason Klaus invited ALL of us. and we have to go and find out what he wants."Stefan said.

"It looks like we're going dress shopping.."Caroline said as she smiled. "Oh dear lord"I said as she dragged me out the bedroom.

"So you going to tell me what's going on between you and what's his face"Caroline whispered making me look at her with a confused look.

"Who's what his face and why are you whispering?"I asked and she rolled her eyes.

"Damon"she mouthed silently and I sighed. "There is nothing going on between us Care.."I said as we walked into the kitchen.

"Bonnie, obviously it's something going o-"

"I'm with Stefan"I reminded her and she nodded. "I know but you guys have this weird sexual tension..it's suffocating and I know it has to be hard for you guys"She said shrugging.

"Caroline there isn't no sexual tension between me and Damon"I whispered. "When's the ball?"I asked changing the subject.

"Tonight"She said and my eyes widened. "Tonight?! How on earth are we going to prepare for a ball tonight?"I asked her and she smiled. "That's what I'm here for, come on!"She said dragging me out the kitchen and out the Salvatore manor.

"Where are we going?"I asked as we got into my car. "To the ball, I hope you don't mind. I stole your boyfriends credit card"Caroline said smiling. I giggled. "You stole Stefan's credit card? You should've stole Damons"I muttered. And Caroline smirked. "I stole both"She said as she started the car and drove off.

Once they drove off, I heard my phone ring making me pick it up. "Hello?"I said into the phone. "Judgy"I heard Damon's annoying face.

"What Damon?"I said getting Caroline's attention as she glared at me. "You have something of mines"He said making me smirk. "Oh do I?"I said sweetly.
