Sorry in advance if this chapter has any spelling or grammar errors. It was all written from my phone.
On another note I've been going back and forth on how long I want this book to be. Part of me wants it to end soon because of how long it's taken me get this far in this story and the other part wants it to be longer because I love Noah and Diana so so much!
Considering there will be a sequel I might shorten the book but Diana and Noah won't be the main focus but they will appear in it.
Whatever I decide I will let you guys know!
Happy reading!
Diana's P.O.V
I could hear everything from the birds chirping in the morning to the sound of running water from the showers. It was like my senses were on overload. My nose picked up a lot of scents and now I got why wolves used scents to help distinguish other people in the pack. Everyone had their own unique scent, like her own personal perfume.
"How do you block it out?"
"Block what out?" Noah asked. His fingers were splayed across my bare stomach. I was only wearing a bra and panties since I was feeling like I was in the sauna all night. Apparently hot flashes were common after a first shift, especially for females. Great.
"All the sounds... it's giving me a headache."
"You just have to focus on one sound."
"What do you focus on?" I looked up into his rich eyes and smiled. I forgot that I didn't have to ask him things out loud. If I wanted to know something I could ask him through a mind link.
"Your heartbeat."
"Really?"
"Really really." He brushed his lips against mine making my toes curl. Gosh, such a simple touch was now electrifying my senses. It was going to be supercharged until we completed the mating process which we were hoping to get some alone time soon.
We didn't bring up the fact that I was royal unless we had to. It was something that I was still struggling to wrap my head around. Part of me wondered why I was given up as a baby. When we were alone Noah told me what he knew about my parents thinking it would be best if he told me when we were alone. Turns out my parents were attacked not long after I was born. To protect me my parents sent me away to live a normal life. They never would know if I was alive or if would find out about what I really was. Did they keep tabs on me or did they decide not to care?
"Your thinking about them again."
"It's hard not to," I admitted. "I wish I knew if they ever regretted giving me up."
"I imagine they do but they did what they did to save you."
The pad of his thumb brushed away a tear that was streaming down my cheek. I didn't know I was crying. "Thanks."
"Anything for you."
"You never told me if I have any siblings... and the book doesn't have a record except that my dad was born royal from his parents. Nothing more after that."
"As much as I wish I could tell you it's obvious that your parents never told anyone if they had any kids before or after you. But I bet you do because just like Alpha's the bloodline needs to continue."
I could possibly have a brother or sister... one that could be older or younger...
Noah kissed my forehead. "Come on, there's someone who wants to see you."
"Then I should get dressed first."
"Yes, that would be a good idea. Nobody but me gets to see you like how your dressed now."

WerewolfHis hands cupped my cheeks as Noah brushed his lips against mine. I closed my eyes and wondered how did I get so lucky to end up with someone like him. "You hold the key to my heart. You have from the moment we met. You just didn't know it yet." ...
