The two boys stood, backs against each other as they held their weapons up to defend themselves from any sudden moves the guards planned to make. The shakey cold breath each took was visible still, as the cold air nipped at them, enough to make your nose sting when taking too sharp of breaths. A smirk slowly crept up on Chips' face,
"I say we take them out." Chip whispered to Gillion.
The triton picked up on his confident, fearless tone, which certainly pumped Gillion up. Seconds later, the single guard that was standing before Gillion leaped towards him with his sword in an attempt to slash him. Inches away from touching his moist skin, the swing was interrupted by a loud crashing metal noise.
The Navy's sword hit against the long sword, at the handle of the sword, seaweed wrapped around it, and small coral grew from it. Gillion forcefully pushed his sword against the others, in an attempt to disarm the guard. Once the other guard attacked Gillion, that was Chip's sign to attack the two guards on him, gripping a sword in each hand as he slashed the first guard swiftly, leaving a gash in the man's left arm, causing him to back up a few inches. Now take this chance to make a move on the other guard, who he been surprised suddenly as a sword swung with speed towards his head, making chip bend backward. The sword inches away from the tip of his nose as he felt time slow down at this moment, stabilizing himself and recovering back to his normal position after almost falling to the ground.
His two swords met in a battle with the guard's long sword, now it was a battle of the strongest. Both put pressure on their swords to fight against the strength of one another. Chip was clearly at a disadvantage in this, he wasn't muscular like the Navy guard, shit, he wasn't even anywhere near the same height the other man was, he was a smaller male, which made this even more difficult... or so he thought. Breaking free from the sword clashing, he ducked down and slid under the man's legs, using his short height to his advantage
. "Surprise motherfucker~" He taunted once he was now on his feet behind the guard, swinging his swords at his back and sending him to the ground. Chip didn't want to kill the guard, even if it was the navy, he didn't have the courage to kill a man, he just couldn't make himself take the life of another.
Chips face lit up with excitement as he took down the guard, looking up from the passed-out guard on the wooden floor,
"Gillion I got one-" His beaming sentence was cut off by the sight before his eyes. There was Gillion, a guard restraining the triton and placing a sword against his throat. Beside Gillions feet was a guard draped on the floor, clearly breathing, but certainly knocked out. Gillion looked frightened, for once... Chip had never seen Gillion look so frightened, it pained Chip. "Take one step closer, and your little fishbowl pet is dead." The Navy guard's raspy voice chortled with enjoyment as he threatened Gillion's life. Chip didn't move an inch. behind him, in the distance, he could hear Jay clashing swords with the previous guard, he couldn't call for her... even if he did, he knows Gillion would be killed on the spot. Gulping his fear down and dropping his weapons, his voice trembled as he spoke, motioning his hands to try and talk his way through the guard.
"L-listen. Let him go." Chip demanded, making sure not to sound too hostile. The sword moved closer to Gillion's throat, causing him to move to his tippy toes to avoid his throat making contact with the clean sharp blade. Chip reached his hand out for him by instinct as he watched the blade grow closer to his neck.
"Hey hey hey! Let him go please!" Chip gave up talking through to the guard, he found himself pleading for Gillion's safety. "He's coming with us, bitch boy" The guard claimed, his raspy deep voice snickered once again, showing how heartless he was.
"Ch-hip it's okay," The moist man whispered out in a weak withered voice, too afraid to speak up with a blade inches away from his smooth fragile skin. Chip hesitated before attempting to inch closer, "hey! One more move and he's dead!" He threatened for the last time. Chip had no idea how to save Gillion . . .
"Now you're coming with me, fish boy."
The guard roughly yanked Gillion by his shirt collar and forced him to walk to the ship where he would be held hostage, Chip watched as the guard kept his eyes on Chip, making sure he didnt take a step closer, and Chip didn't, he knew that if he tried, he'd watch Gillion die right before his eyes. The guard successfully got Gillion aboard the ship since the two were sailing directly next to each other, and the plank of the Navy ship was extended to reach the Albatross like a ramp to, which he used to escort Gillion on. Chip couldn't do anything, but watch them take his friend away. The plank was removed and was no longer reached out towards the Albatross.
Suddenly, the man pushing Gillion around froze up, as his body slowly hit the floor like a ragdoll. Maroon oozing from his head, where a bullet hole was seen. Chip swiftly turned his head over to see Jay with her arm extended and pointing towards the guard she had just shot down. The guard she was previously fighting was laying on the ground motionless,
"Chip! Make sure Gillion is safe! Don't let them take him!"
She screamed out to him, as she weakly fell to her knees after pushing through a noticeable pain that she fought through in order to shoot down the guard. Chip brought it upon himself to save Gillion.
Chip darted towards the edge of the ship as the Navy ship began to take off once again, with the wind picking up and becoming rougher, it allowed the ship to have a better chance of taking off quickly to escape with the triton. Watching as his captain ran in his direction, he looked behind him to see four guards running his way to make sure he didnt getaway, as the guards watched Giliion run to the edge of the ship to try and make an escape. "Gillion! Jump! Jump into the water!" Chip cried out to Gillion, knowing that once he dove into the water, he would be safe from the guards. Running to the railing on the ship where he would throw himself off, he felt himself lift one leg on top of the railing to then jump, since the ships were close in contact with one another, he decided he would leap to get on board the Albatross, reaching a hand out for Chip so he could catch him.
Though, as the triton leaped, he felt a hand grab the back of his shirt and yank him back. Chips hands were just inches away from grabbing Gillion's moist hand, hauling himself over the edge to try and reach him better had backfired, as he watched Gillion get thrown back onto the ship and restrained by a guard.
Crying out to the ship as he then felt a shock of pain enter his left leg, making him fall to the floor instantly. His entire lower body felt weak, numb instantly as he struggled to get to his feet. He didn't even waste a second crying over the godawful pain shot into his leg, he tried and he tried, but he was unable to get to his feet in time. Watching as the Navy ship got away, leaving his grasp. His friend, his co-captain slipped through his fingers, and there was nothing he could do about it... absolutely nothing. He watched Gillion's face as he the triton looked scared... so frightened, it made tears swell up in Chips eyes. The two of them both knew that there was no way of getting out of it...
With a sudden swing to the head, Chip watched a guard knock, Gillion, out with a punch, watching Gillion fall to the floor. "DON'T FUCKING HURT HIM!" Chip screamed out with all his might, his voice cracking to the bone. AT that very moment, he felt his entire body feel weak to the brim, his mind, his thoughts, everything went black. Pitch. black.
