AUTHORS NOTE: 300 READS YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYY!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!
-MADI'S POV-
"A baseball game." I froze once again. Going to a baseball game was my dream date. I loved baseball more than anything. He couldn't be serious right now.
"What."
"You heard me."
"But there's going to be people there."
"Exactly." Niall was bent on getting our relationship in public, though we've only been dating for a few hours. Wait, that couldn't be right. Only a few hours? It felt like more than that. Probably because we've been acting like this for a week. That would have meant that they would be leaving in a week, but Liam needed to recover.
"Do you know any good sports stores?"
"Yeah, Dick's. Why?" Of course he laughed at the name.
"I need a shirt." There was something going on in that brain of his, i saw it in the way his eyes sparkled. I lived in Kansas City, so our baseball team, the Royals, weren't exactly awesome.
"Ok well then take a right here."
-SKIPPING TO WHEN THEY GET TO THE STORE-
"Where's the baseball stuff?" Niall asked me. I lead him to the row of Royals apparel. He walked up and down the aisle until he came to my side.
"Which one do you like?" My eyes found a jersey with my favorite players number on it. I looked at the price tag and put it back. No way he was paying that much.
"Don't do that."
"Do what?"
"Don't worry about price. If you like that one, let's get it."
"I don't like this one." I said stubbornly. Niall smirked at me. I walked over to a plain t-shirt and picked it up. It was a more reasonable price.
"That one?"
"Yep." Niall grabbed his size then looked at me. He looked focused as he took my whole height in, which wasn't much. He then picked up another t-shirt exactly like the one he had gotten, but in my size. Matching shirts?
"Where's the caps?" I didn't know what he was up to, but I had a guess. I suspiciously showed him to where the snapbacks were. Again, he asked "Which one?". Knowing what happened last time, I picked up the cheapest, most plain hat.
"That one?" I nodded.
We checked out and changed into our matching shirt and caps. Niall looked great in blue. I couldn't help but stare as Paul drove us to the stadium. Niall was looking out the window and it took every part of my not to latch on to him. I eventually caved, scooting to the middle seat and wrapping my arms around his torso. Niall chuckled and put his arms around my waist. We sat like that until the car pulled into the stadium parking lot. I didn't expect Paul to come with us but he did. Probably for protection.
Niall, Paul, and I got up to the ticket sales and started scanning the seating chart of the stadium.
"3 tickets for section 115, row 2?" Nial asked. Row 2? Section 115? That was right behind home plate. Those tickets were a hundred bucks each.
"Sure, sweethearts." The elderly lady smiled and started typing into the computer. Those seats were crap. We would be surrounded by snobby rich people and you could see for shit.
"No, we'll take anywhere in the Hyvee section." Those seats were higher up, normally were filled with people who just genuinely loved the game, and the view was great. Oh and they were cheap. Those were my favorite seats.
