-NIALL'S POV-

The day was pretty calm. There were a few time when I was sent out and I guessed that Liam wanted to talk to Madi. They were become really close, like best friends. I didn't want to interrupt but always came in at the wrong moment. Liam would look saddened as I came in the room but I couldn't ever read Madi's expression. She would look a mix of relieved and disappointed.

We had been watching the Lion King for the third time when I realized Madi and Liam had both passed out. Madi was curled up on the small chair across from me and she looked so beautiful.

"Hey sleepin beauty," I whispered in her ear. "Do you want to come sleep over here?" Madi whimpered and moved around a bit. I picked her up in my arms and walked over the the larger recliner I had been sitting in. I laid her down gently on one side and grabbed her blanket and pillow. Lifting her head softly, I placed the pillow under her and tucked her into the blanket. I picked up my stuff and laid down next to her, putting my arms around her waist so there was more room. Madi flipped over and moved closer to me, burrying her face in my chest. Without thinking, I softly started to sing to her the words I never got to finish.

"Truly, madly, deeply I am foolishly, completely falling and somehow you kicked all my walls in so baby say you'll always keep me, truly, madly, crazy, deeply in love with you." She nuzzled even closer. "Madi, will you please make me the luckiest guy in the world and be mine?" I whispered to her, replaying what I would have said that night.

"Yes." she mumbled. I froze. Was she awake? This isn't how I wanted it to be, but if she had heard, I would still be the happiest person alive.

"Are you awake?"

"I woke up when you were singing."

"So you heard me?"

"Yep."

"And you said yes?" Madi's blue eyes met mine.

"Of course."

I was so happy. I couldn't stop smiling. I had the most beautiful girl in the world in my arms and she was mine. I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead and she giggled. She was mine.

-THE NEXT MORNING-

I woke up still smiling. I looked over at Liam who was watching television and eating his breakfast.

"Guess what?" I said, eager to tell him the news.

"You and Madi are dating." He said blankly, not even looking away from the screen.

"How did you know."

"You were smiling like an idiot in your sleep." He still didn't look away.

"Oh.."

"And I heard you." he finally tore his vision away to look me deeply in the eyes. How had he heard?

"Promise me something."

"What is it?"

"You'll take care of her."

"Liam, of course I would. She means everything to me. Why do you say that?" He sort of winced before he spoke.

"I fell for her too."

"What?" I almost shouted. He shushed me, pointing to the sleeping figure next to me.

"The first time you brought her into the changing room, I thought she was the most beautiful girl and I wanted to make her mine." I stopped a second, comprehending his words.

"I've been trying to tell her for awhile, but I always get interrupted."

"Liam.."

"I respect that you two are together now. I promise, I'll stay out of if. Besides, she's perfect for you Nialler." We both looked down at Madi and she stirred a bit.

"Its almost noon." Liam said.

"Then I best be getting her up." I pushed some hair out of her face.

"Come on princess, time to get up." Madi stirred again. I shook her lightly.

"Please? I've got some stuff planned for us today." I wanted to go out with her today, show her to the world. I wasn't going to hide her from the fans, though I would try to protect her from anything negative they would say. She finally got up and we packed our stuff.

"Bye, Li." She croaked, still half asleep. She walked over to the bed and gave him a hug. Liam closed his eyes and held her tight, making the goodbye a little deeper in meaning. He watched sadly as she headed towards the door.

"Cya later, Leeyum." I called. He only nodded and went back to eating.

We passed Harry and Lou on their way in.

"How are you two?" Haz asked. I answered by taking Madi's hand in mine and holding it up for the two to see.

"Well congrats!" Lou spoke. They continued down the hall and I didn't let go of Madi's hands.

"Ni..." I loved when she called me that.

"What?" She was looking around nervously.

"We're going out the front?" The boys and us had been coming in and out the back to avoid the fans waiting in the front. Despite our efforts, word had gotten out about Liam's accident.

"Well of course."

"Why? What about-"

"Madi, don't worry about them. If they say anything negative I'll have their heads." I was being serious. If anyone hurt my beautiful princess, they would be in a world of hurt. She nodded and we walked out the door. Instantly, I heard my name being screamed.

"NIALL!!"

"NIALL OVER HERE!" Then the questions came.

"NIALL WHO IS THAT!"

"ARE YOU TWO DATING?" I still had Madi's hand in mine. I didn't want to say anything, so I tried thinking of something creative. Madi was hiding her face when I looked down at her. I stopped and her head shot up.

"Ni, what are you doing?? Lets go!" before she could pull me towards the car Paul was waiting for us in, I pulled her into my arms and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Everyone this is Madi!" I yelled, trying to get my voice over the hundreds of screams.

"MIALL FOREVER!" I heard someone scream. I picked up the frozen Madi and ran to the car.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!" She slapped my arm rather hard.

"OW! SORRY!! I had to!"

"No you didn't!"

"Madi, I can't hide you!"

"Why not?"

"Because I'm so happy that you're mine." I looked down at my beautiful girlfriend am her face softened.

"Well..moving on. What are we doing today?" I smirked. I knew exactly what I was going to do.

"A baseball game."
