A few things I want to say before you dive into this extremely long one-shot/extremely short fic:
1.It's probably going to feel like there's a lot of loose ends by the time you're done. My original idea for this was to make it a full fic, but I wanted to test it out as a one shot first. Maybe if people like it I'll develop it into a whole thing! MAYBE.
2. There's quite a few things that could be triggering to certain people that I wasn't quite sure how to describe in the tags. There is quite a bit of heavy stuff that Harry talks about when he talks about the birth of his daughter, so keep that in mind. I tried to make it not as in-depth as possible so it's a bit easier to consume. I also really want to stress that this fic is FILLED with EXTREMELY imperfect characters and that I don't always condone what I choose to make them do. All of this imperfection is very important for the growth of the story! Trust me! This is only a work of fiction!
3. I do not portray Johannah Deakin or Anne Twist very well in this, but I want to clarify that I do not mean to imply anything about them and I love them both individually. These are very fictionalised versions of them.
