Chapter Nine

THEY DID WHAT?!

Ronnie Anne couldn't believe her ears when Valak told her what the Louds minus a few had done. Kicking their own son/brother out in the cold due to a foolish belief made by a sore loser. 

They kicked their own brother out due to the words of that fifth born. It wasn't surprising really since they pretty much treated him poorly for years.

Ronnie Anne couldn't dispute those words since she knew that they had some truth to them. She did notice how they treated him and how they basically flaunted their success right in his face. It was almost like they thought that he was inferior to them all. 

"I can't believe that they did that, but knowing how easy it was for them to blame him for everything that goes wrong...I'm not surprised. However...what makes me really disgusted is how they managed to manipulate Leni once again." Ronnie Anne said which made Valak raise one of her eyebrows. 

Manipulate?

"Yep. Leni is sweet, but can be easily taken advantage of. Use the right words then she will do anything that you want." Ronnie Anne said.

Interesting, but we can figure out what to do with her later. For now, I wish to tell you about an offer.

"What kind of offer?" Ronnie Anne said.

An offer to let you be one of my son's lovers which entails you becoming a fallen angel yourself and leaving everyone you know behind.

"Leaving everyone that I know behind?" Ronnie Anne said. 

Yes. No one will believe you if you tell them what the Louds have done...without proof that is.

Ronnie Anne couldn't protest what Valak said since she knew that she was right. No one would believe her and would say that she's crazy. Plus her brother would just become disappointed with her and force her to apologize to the Louds. 

"Tempting, but what do you mean by one of his lovers?" Ronnie Anne asked.

My son needs several mates with someone being the alpha and who better than the girl who has caught my son's heart in her clutches.

Ronnie Anne blushed at that and imagined her life with Lincoln. A life that she could get if she allowed Valak to take her away from all of this mess. She will miss her family, but she needed to be with Lincoln besides...she needed to gather more proof that the Louds treated Lincoln poorly. So without hesitation..Ronnie Anne said:

Let's go.

Which were the last words she spoke in the Santiago household as Valak grabbed her hand and transported her away. It will hurt now, but if it meant spending the rest of her life with her beloved then it would be worth it.

Meanwhile, Bobby just arrived at the hospital and spotted the Louds in the waiting room. They all turned to look at him as he bent over and panted heavily. However...they knew that he would want answers on what happened to Lori.

"Mr. and Mrs. Loud...Have you recieved any news on Lori's condition?" Bobby asked.

"Not yet, but I'm sure that she'll be okay." Rita said.

"That's a relief, but...I want to know what happened to her." Bobby said. The Louds looked at each other with nervous expressions wondering how to tell him that something or someone attacked their daughter/sister. Thankfully the doctor came in just at that very moment giving them more time to think.

"Family of Lori Loud?" The doctor said.

"Yes. Is my daughter alright?" Lynn Sr. said.

"Your daughter is very lucky. She suffered a head wound that isn't too serious along with cuts and bruises, but with a little bit of rest...she will be able to go home." The doctor said which caused the Louds to sigh in relief. Their daughter would be fine which meant that they only had three worries to deal with and the newest one...

Who attacked Lori? They didn't know, but they intended to find out. Besides mess with a Loud..they will get you back. No matter what they have to do.
