Son of Valak

Chapter Twelve

When Maria walked through the door, she spotted her teenage son on the couch. This was nothing new, but she couldn't help herself from sighing. She knew that her son was a good boy, but after seeing how love struck her son is...Maria couldn't help herself from worrying. She knew that Lori was no good for her son, but if she tried to tell Lori off, her so would say:

Mom, leave my girlfriend alone. 

I know that you're just jealous that she is young and beautiful, but that's no excuse to bully her.

Respect my own decisions, Mom.

Along with so many other things that almost her explode with anger and embarrassment. At least her daughter could see the truth, but even she couldn't get that boy to see the truth. Speaking of which....

"Bobby, where is your sister?" Maria asked. Her son just looked at her and shrugged which only served to anger his mother.

"So your sister is missing and you haven't gone to search for her?" Maria asked.

"I thought that she went skating or was just let going home. Come on, Mom...she can handle herself." Bobby said. His answer almost caused her to yell and scold her son greatly. He doesn't realize how dangerous it is to let a young woman go out alone. A woman who is very beautiful which could bring anyone to do something awful to her. 

"Where have I gone wrong with you?" Maria asked herself quietly as she got ready to search for her daughter. As she walked towards her room, Maria noticed a picture with a huge crack between her daughter and son. It was something that was happening lately due to her son's obsession with Lori. It was a saddening sight, but one that would soon happen between herself and her son.

Sighing...she quickly went to her room to get changed unaware that she was being observed by Valak. She was considering taking her for Ronnie Anne's sake mainly cause she was also sick of how obsessed her brother was being. However, she would have to take her later so her son wouldn't be suspicious.

Meanwhile,  Leni was in her room and was staring at one of those special smoothies that her parents give her. She never moved to lift it up and drink it since she knew that something was terribly wrong with it. She was smart, but after taking these smoothies...her IQ has been decreased.

"What did they put in you?" Leni asked. Of course, she couldn't ask the smoothie since it was just a smoothie. She suspected her sister, Lisa in having some part of this and was going to confront her little sister when someone spoke to her.

So you discovered something was off with your smoothies?

Leni looked around before spotting the mirror which had a nun standing there watching her. She should've screamed or yelled for help, but her presence wasn't full of malice. It was almost like she had some kind of pity towards her.

"And I'm guessing you're the reason for my sibling's disappearance. Not like I blame them considering how awful the others are." Leni said.

You're correct on that. Your ancestors are angry at your actions, but your siblings and Ronnie Anne has put in a good word for you.

"Sigh...That's because of these smoothies that they've given me each day. I also felt like something was off since I was basically pressured to drink them. However due to the events take have happened...they left me alone with it." Leni said.

Those incidents are really effective to throw people off of someone's trail. But that's a discussion for another time. I wish to offer you a chance to get out of here.

"Normally, I would decline your offer. However since I decided to cut ties with them...I would gladly go with you." Leni said.

They lost your trust.

"Of course. Why would I stay with people who drug me into being stupid? They should've let me get smarter, but instead wanted me to stay stupid so they can keep the family in this messed up order." Leni said. Valak nodded and reached out her hand as Leni grabbed it...they both disappeared.
